Elon Musk promises Cybertruck to first person to provide ‘proof’ of who's behind Democrats' new campaign

The 'Sh*t That Ain’t True' campaign is causing a stir

Elon Musk has made a bizarre promise to his X followers after the Democratic party launched a new campaign against Donald Trump.

Some very angry fists are being waved over at the White House right now, and while Elon Musk might not have an office in its hallowed halls, that hasn't stopped the world's richest man from embedding himself inside the Trump Administration.

With Musk referring to himself as the so-called First Buddy, others have taken it one step further in AI videos calling him the 'real' king, and some branding him 'President Musk'. Even though Donald Trump is still calling the shots as the 47th President of the United States, he has the tech mogul firmly on his shoulder.

Musk has been making plenty of enemies since moving into politics, not least among the Democrats.

In the latest war of the words, 22 Democratic senators have banded together against Donald Trump and all recited the same phrase.

The 'Sh*t That Ain't Real' campaign highlights the POTUS' campaign trail promises to "immediately bring prices down, starting on day one." That hasn't happened in the USA, and with January’s Consumer Price Index report saying inflation has risen to 3% on an annualized basis, the 22 senators have used this in their united takedown.

The Democrats have also thrown shade at Mr. Musk, with complaints that his Department of Government Efficiency has cut 'vital government programs.’

Among them is Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who says in her video: "Sh*t that ain’t true, that’s what you just heard. Since day one of Donald Trump’s presidency, prices are up, not down. Inflation is getting worse, not better."

She goes on to call out the price of eggs (a recurring theme of the campaign) and adds: "Meanwhile, Donald Trump has done nothing to lower costs for you. He’s pardoned violent criminals who beat police officers on January 6.

“He’s letting Elon Musk take a chainsaw, literally, to government programs that people need, and giving him [Musk] access to America's most sensitive data."

Musk is less than impressed by the 'Sh*it That Ain't Real' campaign, taking to X and ranting: "Now we’re up to 22 Dem senators all doing the same cringe video simultaneously!

I will buy a Cybertruck for anyone can provide proof of who wrote this particular piece of propaganda.

“First person to post proof in the replies to this post gets the truck!"

Considering a Cybertruck starts at $81,985 and goes up from there, someone could earn big if they can prove who's behind the campaign, though that amount of money is no sweat off Musk's back...

The comments were quickly filled with those who claimed to have proof, with @joybeingfree99 diving deep to suggest the DPCC (Democratic Policy and Communications Committee) is responsible.

Others were impressed by the forensic digging, with someone adding: "Guy has me worried and I didn’t do sh*t."

Another said, "Yeah give this guy a truck, he clearly knows what he’s talking about," while a third concluded, "This seems like the kind of person who should be working at DOGE."

Whether Musk will make good on his promise remains to be seen, but by highlighting the 'Sh*t That Ain't Real' campaign, he might've just given it the Streisand effect.
