Apple's upcoming September event could reveal one of the tech giant's biggest selection of new gadgets, with new versions of the company's most popular products and some controversial evolutions set for launch.
Everybody knows at this point that September is the biggest time of year for Apple, as while there are other product launches scattered throughout the year, next month is undoubtedly where the biggest hitters are revealed.
With this year's Apple event expected to be one of the most significant in recent history, you won't want to miss everything that's being shown off in what could be a new era for Apple under new CEO John Ternus.
Things could change, of course, but analysts expect a number of new iPhone reveals – albeit missing out on one major option – alongside new additions to the Apple Watch, AirPods, and Home lineups. Don't forget the inevitable launch of iOS 27 too, as that has undergone months of testing.
All new products likely to be revealed at Apple's September event
As reported by 9to5Mac, tech experts are confident that Apple will reveal around 10 new products, with many of them being separate versions of Apple's most popular and successful lines.
iPhone
Apple is expected to reveal and swiftly launch three new iPhones, with all catered towards the power users that want the most from their devices without fear of a four-figure price tag.
- iPhone 18 Pro
- iPhone 18 Pro Max
- iPhone Ultra
It was always expected that both the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max would be revealed this September, and while impressive specs and a new design will definitely draw some eyes, the attention of Apple fans will definitely be focused on the foldable iPhone Ultra.
Advert

Being Apple's first entry into the foldable space despite rivals like Samsung and Google offering their alternatives for over seven years now, many are excited to see exactly how Apple could offer something new, especially as the company usually only approaches tech like this once the kinks have already been ironed out by others.
What could be a hard pill to swallow, however, is the price — as rumors have suggested it could be as much as $2,000, with AI hardware shortages likely having an impact as prices soar across the board.
One thing that you've likely noticed is that this is the first time since the iPhone 4 that a base version of Apple's flagship device hasn't launched in the year's fourth quarter, and the first time in eight years that they've skipped a new base model.
Insiders still expected the iPhone 18 to arrive in the early months of next year, meaning that we won't be going an entire generation without a standard model, but it looks as if Apple is pivoting its release schedule to avoid oversaturation and target different markets like China.
Apple Watch
It's that time again for a new Apple Watch refresh, so if you've had yours for a couple generations or simply want access to the latest and greatest features, now might be the perfect time to upgrade.
- Apple Watch Series 12
- Apple Watch Ultra 4
It has only been a year since both the Series 11 and Ultra 3 models were released but there could still be a big revamp, as reports from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman suggest that both models will get 'long-awaited' updates to the chipset and overall speed, alongside a significant redesign for the Ultra line.
There are expected to be double sensors available in the Ultra 4 compared to its predecessor, with also the potential for the return of the much-loved ceramic case too.
AirPods
One of the more controversial launches expected to be shown off at the September event is the new AirPods – likely the Pro 4 – as a video leaked from the latest macOS update revealed that they feature tiny cameras hidden in the stems.
- AirPods Pro 4
How these work in full is yet to be revealed, yet they're not likely to mirror the cameras featured within Meta's smart glasses, and are expected to be optimised for Visual Intelligence scanning instead with IR sensors.

You'll use them to ask questions and complete tasks relative to objects in your direct view, like lodging a book for later or translating a sign in front of you, but that hasn't stopped people from expressing privacy concerns.
Whether Apple is able to remedy these with their presentation remains to be seen, but unlike most things shown off during the event they could be fighting a losing battle with the wider fanbase.
Apple TV
It might not be the most exciting announcement but Apple is expected to launch a new version of Apple TV 4K, complete with Siri upgrades and a revised remote after not having a new version for nearly four years now.
- Apple TV 4K (New)
There's little we actually know about the new features that'll prompt people to upgrade from their existing Apple TV 4K sets, but experts have suggested that it'll have enhanced Siri and AI functionality that could introduce photo editing tools, and enhancements to the Podcasts app.
People have also suggested that there will be a new and improved remote, but whether that's worthy of an upgrade is another question.
HomePad & HomePod
Finally, the last three products Apple is expected to show off at the upcoming event relate to its smart home range, with a new iPad-like hub joining up with new versions of the HomePod.
- HomePad
- HomePod mini 2
- HomePod 3

The HomePad will likely function as a stationary iPad-like device that controls everything linked to your smart home network, while also adding the functionality of a digital photo frame, security camera monitor, and static AI assistant for all of your questions and requests.
When is Apple's next big event after September?
September is the big one when it comes to Apple, but fans are often left looking for more after the last big event of the year is over. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until the next Apple Experience, expected to be scheduled for early March, to see more.
Nothing concrete has been confirmed for 2027 yet, but it's here that we'll likely see official reveals for the base iPhone 18, alongside the budget iPhone 18e and perhaps even a follow-up to the thinner iPhone Air.
As usual, Apple will also likely reveal new MacBooks and iPads – with the M6 chip expected to launch – and we might even get a sequel for the incredibly successful MacBook Neo amid skyrocketing hardware prices.
