Hacking group Anonymous issues simple response to news Elon Musk is named in Epstein Files

They've hit out against the billionaire again

Frequent Elon Musk rival Anonymous has hit out against the billionaire once again on social media, as the infamous hacking group has issued a simple response to news of Musk's alleged involvement in the Epstein files.

The drip-fed release of the Epstein files has become one of the biggest political conversations of the year, as what was once a campaign promise for Trump's bid for the presidency has since become a potential black mark on his administration as it continues to block attempts to release the information.

Conversations surrounding the files themselves allege that any names involved were at the very least aware of the accusations of sex trafficking and abuse of women and children, which allegedly took place on the financier's private Carribbean island, Little St James.

Elon Musk has previously made the bold claim that Donald Trump himself is present within the files, vowing that the 'truth will come out' amid his public fallout with the president, yet its the world's richest man who now has to face questions on that very same subject.

Following the release of documents by Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee last week, it was suggested that Musk was a potential visitor to Epstein's island on December 6, 2014, which was over six years after the financier was listed as a registered sex offender.

Musk has since responded to these claims by denying that he ever went to the island, insisting that while he was invited to Epstein's island, he refused the offer.

"Anyone pushing this false narrative deserves complete contempt," Musk wrote on X in response to the allegations. "Epstein tried to get to me to go to his island and I REFUSED."

However, long-time Musk critic and infamous hacking group Anonymous have responded to Musk claims, making a subtle statement that suggests they aren't quite convinced by the billionaire's claims.

One of its first posts following the news was a photo of Musk with Ghislaine Maxwell, former close associate of Epstein and someone who was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for facilitating sex trafficking and sexual abuse.

Anonymous quotes an interview with Maxwell in July this year, where Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche asked her if she knew Elon Musk, to which she responded: "I do."

While this doesn't make Musk guilty by association, and the billionaire has repeatedly claimed that he didn't know Maxwell when the photo was taken, suggesting that she 'photobombed' him, Anonymous added to their unspoken claims with another photo.

Quoting their post, the hacking group added an infamous photo of Musk and Google co-founder Sergey Brin, adding no caption to let the readers come to their own conclusions.

If you're unaware of the context behind this photo, it came after allegations from the Wall Street Journal that Musk had allegedly had an affair with Brin's then-wife, which led to the Google co-founder's divorce.

Musk not only denied these claims, but shared a photo in a now-deleted post on X of himself with Brin at a party to claim that they're still friends, although the latter doesn't exactly seem aware that the photo is taking place.

The implication here from Anonymous presumably is that Musk has previously used a photo of himself with someone else to reinforce a friendship, yet denies his connections with Maxwell (and Epstein by extension) on the very same grounds.
