The war of the words between Elon Musk and hacking group Anonymous continues.
While the world's richest man called for a full release of the hotly contested Epstein files, and once claimed President Donald Trump was named in there, he now finds himself on the receiving end of allegations for the very same reason.
Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was found hanged in his New York jail cell back in July 2019, and although accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell is still serving her sentence, there are more questions than answers when it comes to the shamed financier and his various connections.
Elon Musk was particularly vocal in his claims that Trump was named in the redacted files, taking to X in a now-infamous rant toward the end of his tenure with the Department of Government Efficiency.

He's now addressed the claims that he was close to Epstein, maintaining that he never visited the US Virgin Islands' Little St James, while then shifting the focus to Prince Andrew.

Anonymous has already issued its own simple response to the Epstein files, but has now doubled down with a series of serious claims.
Earlier this year, Anonymous warned people to 'act now' against Trump and Musk, which spurred the tech billionaire to deliver his own scathing retort.

This time, Anonymous responded to Musk talking about 'illegals' in America and went on to accuse him and Kimbal Musk of being long-time friends of Jeffrey Epstein.
The group then alleged that the pair committed immigration fraud to gain access to US citizenship, as well as claiming Musk was given 'billions' in contracts that he's 'not qualified for'.
While Musk is yet to reply to these scandalous claims, there was plenty of conversation beneath the post. As well as others throwing their own wild claims onto the pile, one person tagged him and wrote: "Immigrants including illegal pay billions in taxes year over year and a lot more than you do."
Another added: "These people lie about everything! 😒 Musk lies about everOnce again, @elonmusk is making up sh*t."

Others called out Anonymous, with someone else saying: "If I lied as much as you I'd stay anonymous too."
A fourth concluded: "These people lie about everything! 😒 Musk lies about everything!"
Anonymous versus Musk is sure to continue, with this feud going back years. Perhaps the biggest insult came when Anonymous Sudan managed to take X down in over a dozen countries over protests of Starlink being launched in the country.
Musk might refer to Anonymous as 'hacktivists', but with the group previously flexing its power to launch a Denial of Service (DDoS) against the Vatican, leaking sensitive information from the Bureau of Justice, and encouraging 2010's YouTube Porn Day, it's proven it's an organization not to be messed with.
