Like a dog with a bone, Elon Musk is once again banging his Epstein file drum. The world's richest man has inserted himself into the drama surrounding the Trump administration's handling of the case, with conspiracy theories swirling about what really happened to the shamed financier and whether there really is a mythical 'black book' sitting on Attorney General Pam Bondi's desk.
It's no secret that Elon Musk and Donald Trump have gone to war, and while many predicted a spectacular falling out between the pair, few expected it to go down quite like it did. Musk took umbrage with the President's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and in a spectacular rant, went on to claim the full Epstein files haven't been released because Trump is mentioned in there.
Although Musk admitted he went 'too far' in some of his posts, he's back to stir the pot in the aftermath of the FBI and Department of Justice's investigation into Epstein.
As well as sticking with the verdict that Epstein took his own life while in his prison cell in August 2019, the FBI and DoJ claimed there's no evidence of the mythical black book that's said to name and shame politicians, Hollywood megastars, and the world's elite while connecting them to Epstein's crimes.

Bondi made a big deal of handing out dossiers comprised of unreleased parts of the Epstein files, but following the conclusion of the investigation, there have been calls for her to resign. Musk has been poking the bear for weeks, and as well as demanding a full release of the Epstein files, has been posting a series of memes mocking Trump's handling of the case.
The tech mogul has now bombarded X (formerly Twitter) with a series of posts about the Epstein files.
As reported by ABC News, Musk criticised the Trump administration at least 35 times on his platform. One scathing post read, "It's a cover up (obviously)," while another said, "So many powerful people want that list suppressed."

After Trump referred to the 'Epstein Hoax', Musk chimed in saying: "Wow, amazing that Epstein 'killed himself' and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax."
Firing another shot, he added: "1. Admit nothing; 2. Deny everything; 3. Make counterclaims. But it won’t work this time."
He then put Bondi in his crosshairs by posting a photo of the binders she gave out to MAGA influencers, joking: "Epstein files: Phase 1. Where is 'Phase 2'?"

Musk even got his controversial Grok chatbot involved, as he asked it: "Would that mean the government right now -- as we speak -- knows the names & ages of all those who traveled on Epstein’s plane?"
The ever-sassy Grok replied: "Yes, the DOJ and FAA hold extensive passenger manifests and flight logs from Epstein's jets."
When ABC News asked the White House for comment on Musk's latest outburst, the outlet was directed to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's recent remarks.
When asked about whether Trump has been in touch with the many who've been criticising his handling of the Epstein files, Leavitt explained: "The president and this team are always in contact with the president’s supporters, with voices of many kinds on both sides of the aisle.

"But, ultimately, he has led this country not just over the past six months to historic success, but also through his first four years as president ... and as I always say, the American people should trust in President Trump."
