While Elon Musk might have expressed restraint on social media last week, his latest posts on X have brought back jabs against the Trump administration, including multiple bizarre memes mocking the result of the Epstein case findings.
The mystery surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged client list has remained a focal point for the public and government since his unexplained death in prison back in August 2019.
Many have speculated the circumstances surrounding Epstein's passing, and wondered if there were any suggestions of blackmail involving potentially high profile names in the convicted sex offender's black book of contacts.
According to newly released findings from the Department of Justice, however, there was "no credible evidence" of a client list that could be used to blackmail "prominent individuals," ruling in addition that the cause of his death was suicide, as per the Independent.

Elon Musk, who previously vowed that the 'truth will come out' after accusing Trump of being in the Epstein files, wasn't too happy with the Department of Justice's findings, and used it as further ammunition in his lengthy fight against the current government following his fiery exit.
What has Musk said about the Epstein findings?
Musk's first social media reaction to the news was a bizarre meme, accompanied by the red-faced anger emoji. The meme, showing four different stages of applying clown makeup, had the following text:

"We will release the Epstein list. We just need more time. The Epstein list is on my desk. There is no Epstein list."
This references the process that the Department of Justice and Attorney General Pam Bondi went through regarding the Epstein files, with the third 'stage' being a direct quote from Bondi before now claiming that it doesn't exist.

Speaking to Fox News in February, Bondi outlined in response to whether her department will release a list of Epstein's clients: "It's sitting on my desk right now to review."
As reported by the BBC, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt outlined that Bondi's comments were in reference to a list of Epstein's crimes as opposed to a list of his clients, but many aren't convinced by this argument, seemingly including Musk.
In response to a user calling the situation a 'farce', Musk illustrated on X that "this is the final straw," perhaps expressing his desire to cement his plans for a new political party and fund opposition to Republican lawmakers.

He also followed it up with a new meme which displayed 'The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter' at '0000', with the caption: "What's the time? Oh look, it's no-one-has-been-arrested-o'clock again..."
Musk also appeared to insinuate that the alleged hiding of Epstein's contacts is because of involvement on both ends of the political spectrum, writing that the lack of released evidence is because "both sides were guilty."
