David Anthony Burke (better known as the artist D4vd) is once again at the center of a media storm after the dismembered body of a 15-year-old girl was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla registered to the "Romantic Homicide" artist.

The 'putrid' remains of a woman's body were found wrapped in plastic on September 8, with decomposition having set in after she was discovered in a Los Angeles impound lot. The victim was later identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas.

There have been continued questions and allegations about D4vd's potential connection to Rivas, with a leaked track bearing the same name as Celeste, her family speaking out, and even streamers wading into the situation.

While Burke was said to be cooperating with authorities, he's faced criticism for continuing his Withered World tour, especially for throwing Labubus into the crowd just hours after Rivas' remains were initially discovered.

Now, D4vd's manager has taken to TikTok to tell his side of the story. Posting on the social media platform, Josh Marshall denied any involvement in the incident. The owner of record label and media company Mogul Vision clapped back at someone suggesting he was responsible for Rivas' death, with Marshall stating: "How dare you say something like this with no facts.”

The manager continued: "This video is false, and the person is misinformed. This is the only time I’ll speak on this matter. FOR NOW.

"This has been a tough time for my family as I am a father of 3 children. I received no emails, and I’m no one’s roommate, I live full-time at home with my wife and kids."

Continuing to defend himself, Marshall added: "My daughter is 14 and this news is affecting so many lives. I never received any emails. I had zero knowledge of anything and I don’t live in California."

Claiming that 95% of his job is remote and doesn't include much interaction with clients like D4vd, Marshall stated: "There are many others that work with him on a day-to-day capacity, not me.

"This news is tragic for so many and for her family. I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon. Let me remind people a lot of this is speculation and alleged. In the meantime, I am with my family helping them emotionally get through the news of this tragedy. Please report on factual information. – Josh Marshall."

Imploring people to "stop creating false narratives and assumptions," he shared a later post that concluded: "This is for anyone that has spread misinformation about me that greatly affects myself and my family without any regard for the facts.

"Also I hope the creator of this video pins my comment and corrects what she said with a new video and anyone else making false comments or following a narrative about me that isn’t true."

The tragedy of Celeste Rivas continues, and after police raided D4vd's $20,000-a-month Hollywood Hills residence while looking for blood evidence, they were seen leaving with multiple bags and a computer.

A leading defense attorney currently believes there's no evidence to suggest Burke is connected to Rivas' death, with Alexandra Kazarian saying, “He better be shutting his mouth," as the investigation continues.
