Major streamer who knew singer who had dismembered body discovered in trunk breaks silence

She collaborated with d4vd across YouTube and music

As the situation involving a dismembered body found in the trunk of a car registered to singer d4vd continues to unfold, one incredibly popular live streamer who collaborated with him has finally broken her silence.

David "d4vd" Anthony Burke is currently involved – although not considered a suspect at this point in time – in a police investigation after authorities discovered a dismembered body wrapped in plastic in the back of a Tesla vehicle registered to his name.

The victim has been identified by the Los Angeles Police Department as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been registered missing since May last year when she was just 13-years-old, having disappeared around Lake Elsinore.

Rivas' devastated family members have spoken out following the reveal of her death, and d4vd continues to perform shows across the United States as he is currently working through a world tour.

The singer, who has released popular songs on social media such as 'Romantic Homicide', is claimed to possess the same 'Shh...' tattoo on his index finger that the deceased Rivas was described to have, and one leaked track possessing Celese's name in the title is alleged to have been made by d4vd, complete with disturbing lyrics.

Burke was undoubtedly a popular figure across social media, and this led to a number of collaborations with creators including some of the biggest live streamers, as reported by Dexerto.

One in particular was Imane "Pokimane" Anys, who featured in d4vd's music video for his song 'What Are You Waiting For' earlier this year, alongside a mukbang and various live streams.

While continues to assist the police in their investigation and any claims regarding his involvement in the case remain merely allegations with no arrests made so far, Pokimane has now broken her silence and addressed her connection to the singer amid questions from fans.

"I've gotten a lot of messages about the d4vd news & wanted to say I'm as shocked and disturbed as everyone else finding this out :(," Anys wrote on X.

She added that she hopes "justice will be served soon," and that her "thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family."

One user in the replies to her post wrote that they "honestly do not know why streamers are being forced to comment on situations," although similar questions have been levied at Jason "jasontheween" Nguyen, who defended d4vd in a since-deleted livestream.

Fellow streamer Ludwig Ahgren has also addressed the situation, criticising people for their focus on what streamers have to say as opposed to the actual ongoing police investigation.

"It feels like some people are more worried about Jason's actions than the facts of the matter and the victim at hand," he argued.
