A singer was filmed throwing Labubus into a crowd during his show just hours after a dismembered body was discovered in the trunk of his Tesla.

The singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was captured by concertgoers at his show at the Fillmore in Minneapolis, Minnesota, yesterday (September 9).

One user took to social media to share a video of Burke where he could be seen through Labubus into the crowd.

Captioning the clip on X, formerly Twitter, the user wrote: “d4vd takes the stage in Minneapolis, giving away Labubus to the crowd, hours after a badly decomposed body was discovered in a Tesla registered to him.”

The unnamed female victim was discovered having been wrapped in plastic and left inside the trunk of a vehicle that is registered to the singer after the Tesla had been impounded at a tow yard in Hollywood.

According to reports by ABC7, the Los Angeles Police Department is looking into the incident after police were called to the scene just before 12.30 pm local time on Monday (September 8).

This came after there were complaints of a foul odor emitting from the car, which had been there for a couple days before the human remains were uncovered.

Speaking to the press, Captain Robert Peters said: “We were notified this morning and the car's been here for a couple of days.”

According to a report from NBC Los Angeles, a spokesperson for the singer said that he ‘has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities’.

So far, authorities haven’t released any information about the identity of the victim as police are still working to find out who she is.

The 2023 Tesla appears to have been registered to Burke in Hempstead, and has Texas plates.

The vehicle was found to have been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills after it was reported, with neighbors claiming that the car had been left for over a month.

Burke himself hasn’t spoken out about the incident and has carried on with his tour, with his next stop expected to be tonight (September 10th) in Kansas City, Missouri.

The singer has billions of Spotify streams on his music and has been signed to Darkroom and Interscope Records since September 2022.

On Tuesday (September 9), a second body was found in a different LA tow yard inside a burned Honda Civic. Police have said that there are no indications that the two cases are connected.
