People have discovered another twist in the ongoing police investigation involving singer David "d4vd" Anthony Burke, as a 'leaked' song appears to feature the same name as the girl that was found dead in the trunk of his Tesla.

The Los Angeles Police Department was initially alerted by individuals who could smell a strange odor emanating from a Tesla vehicle registered to Burke, and upon opening the trunk they found a decomposing body wrapped in plastic.

An investigation was immediately opened up into this discovery, with d4vd cooperating with police despite continuing with his current world tour, and the official identity of the deceased girl has now been revealed.

15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had vanished at the point at which she was just 13 years old in May of last year, was the victim found dead in the trunk of the vehicle allegedly belonging to Burke, and she was last seen by Lake Elsinore in California before her disappearance.

Police noted in their description of Rivas' body that she had a tattoo on the side of her index finger that read 'Shh...', and TMZ revealed that Burke was also pictured with a near-identical tattoo in the exact same location last September.

Now, the singer – who went viral for a song named 'Romantic Homicide' – has allegedly been linked to leaked songs that have been uploaded to Soundcloud, with one in particular eerily featuring the title of 'Celeste', as per LADbible.

Lyrics for the song allegedly written and performed by d4vd are as follows:

"Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes / I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I’m obsessed.

"Afraid you'll only love me when undressed / But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress / Missing you so much makes me depressed / But I digress, because..."

There remains no active suspect in the case surrounding Rivas' death, although police believe that she many have been dead for a long period of time before she was found wrapped in plastic.

Additionally, d4vd has not been charged with any crimes and is allowed to continue on with his tour amid the ongoing investigation, yet he has since been dropped from key brand deals involving Crocs and Hollister after modelling products.

Burke has since been cropped out and removed from any marketing for the associated items of clothing, but they have been released regardless.
