D4vd cancels tour amid ongoing investigation after a 15-year-old was found dead in his Tesla.
David 'd4vd' Anthony Burke rose to fame on TikTok and streaming platforms with viral tracks before releasing his debut album Withered in 2025.
The singer-songwriter d4vd is at the centre of a police investigation after human remains were discovered in a car registered to him in Los Angeles.
Authorities discovered the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing since April 2024 in Lake Elsinore, California.

The Tesla, registered to d4vd, had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and later impounded.

Staff at the impound lot reported a foul odour on 8 September, leading to the discovery of Rivas’ body in the vehicle's front trunk.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the identification on 17 September.

The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined, but the case is being treated as a homicide. Investigators said the body had been in the vehicle for an extended period.
As of 19 September, no suspects have been named and authorities have not confirmed any link between Rivas and Burke.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the investigation, and Burke’s representatives say he is cooperating fully with law enforcement.
Rivas' devastated family members have spoken out following the reveal of her death, and d4vd continued to perform shows across the United States as part of his world tour.

Only one show on d4vd’s tour was initially cancelled, with other dates set to continue. However, TMZ reported on 19 September that the tour had been fully cancelled.

The popular figure has collaborated with a number of creators, including prominent streamers like Imane 'Pokimane' Anys, who appeared in the music video for his track What Are You Waiting For earlier this year.
"I've gotten a lot of messages about the d4vd news & wanted to say I'm as shocked and disturbed as everyone else finding this out :(," Anys wrote on X.

She added that she hopes 'justice will be served soon' and that her 'thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family.'
What social media is questioning is why the singer is reported to have the same 'Shh…' tattoo on his index finger that Rivas was said to have.
Even more chilling, a leaked track allegedly created by d4vd reportedly includes Rivas’ name in the title and features disturbing lyrics.
Police officials have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and urged the public to provide any information related to the case.
