There's been plenty of mud-slinging recently, and who'd have guessed that it would be between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump? The world's richest man and President of the United States went at each other over the latter's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and while Musk was once the so-called First Buddy, he's left the White House in explosive style.
Elon Musk dropped a series of bombshell posts, threatening to pull his SpaceX rockets from service, calling for Donald Trump to be impeached, and even claiming the POTUS is named in the unreleased Epstein Files. Musk has since said he 'regrets' some of his posts, and even though we don't imagine there will be more romantic rides together in a Tesla, Trump seemed to accept the apology.
Still, there have been plenty of scandalous things said, like a report from The Washington Post that claims Musk took drugs in the White House. The outlet suggests that Trump referred to the former Department of Government Efficiency head as a "big-time drug addict", although the President has denied having any knowledge of Musk ever partaking in drugs when he told reporters: "I really don't know, I don't think so, I hope not."

Musk has already defended himself online, saying that although he's previously been on prescription ketamine, a similar piece from the New York Times was 'lying'.
These pieces have clearly touched a nerve, with Musk now taking to X to share a clean drug report showing how he's supposedly tested negative for a variety of narcotics, including cocaine and ketamine.
His critics maintain that this has been fabricated, and it turns out that Musk's own artificial intelligence might also be thinking the same way. When one person asked Grok what the test means, the ever-sassy chatbot replied, saying: "Hey @ShorelineDefi ! Looks like Elon dropped a lab report with a big fat ‘negative’ across the board—clean as a whistle!"

Grok said its best guess is that this was a 'cheeky way' to shut down rumors about Musk taking drugs, or a simple jab at those who are spreading the news. Grok asked for Musk's own input, adding: "Given the timing, with all the SpaceX buzz lately, it could be him laughing off the naysayers. What do you think—any theories on your end? @elonmusk , care to spill the tea? 😄"
Some still don't think everything quite adds up, with another person joking, "It definitely couldn't be AI created right."

Grok waded back into the debate and confirmed it would be possible to create a falsified drug test with the use of AI or some simple Photoshop skills: "The lab report shared by Elon Musk appears genuine, matching the format of United States Drug Testing Laboratories, Inc., with verifiable details like the director's signature.
"However, AI can create realistic documents, so there's a small chance it's fabricated. The report's age (2023) limits its relevance to recent 2024-2025 drug use claims, which may fuel skepticism. Without clear evidence of AI use, it leans authentic but doesn't fully address current allegations."
It's interesting that despite the dates saying the test was taken in 2025, Grok claims the report is from 2023. Even though the world's richest man continues to defend himself against allegations of drug use, Musk's naysayers are sure to have a field day with this one.
