People seriously freaked out after spotting creepy detail in picture of Donald Trump

Now that's what you call a jump scare

While Elon Musk isn't the Vice President, you'd be forgiven for thinking the self-appointed 'First Buddy' was.

The world's richest man doesn't have an office directly in the White House, but as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, he's already been throwing his weight around the Oval Office. An embarrassing AI video hijacked screens at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and referred to Musk as the 'real' king, while others have started calling him 'President Musk'.

We don't imagine Donald Trump is too impressed by Musk's new nickname, and although the latter's designation as a 'special government employee' means he can only work 130 days in every 365, it looks like he's going to be by the POTUS' side for the next four years.

Proving just how close Musk is to President Trump, eagle-eyed viewers have spotted a wild detail in a viral photo of the Commander in Chief. While Trump posed with a model of Boom Aero's supersonic jet, onlookers were told to zoom in.

The Overture One is dubbed the 'son of Concorde' and hopes to restore the tattered legacy of the defunct passenger jet following its final flight in 2003.

Even though it was all smiles as Trump posed with the world's fastest airliner, others quickly spotted that Musk can be seen in the mirror's reflection.

Reminding us of Insidious' jump scare demon scene, many branded the picture as 'sinister'.

Responding to the photo, one critic said: "Devil in my ear type of sh*t. Pulitzer level photo."

Another joked, He's just living in the walls at this point," as someone else added, "Mirror, mirror on the wall — who's the actual president of them all?”

In one particularly charged rant, a fourth concluded: “This is downright creepy. It's like he's looking over at the person he gave all this money to, watching him like a Hawk and wishing he could be the President.

"It is the most disgusting image of envy and when you see it in a mirror from behind. It is an interdimensional fact and truth..."

There were plenty of suggestions that Musk's proximity to the President means he's influencing things from the sidelines and has even more power than we first thought. Namely, most were spooked by the 'creepy' photobomb and made jokes about how he's 'always' watching.

With Musk’s DOGE HQ being just a stone's throw from the Oval Office, he’s never that far away anyway.

At least Trump seems happy with Musk's cuts (for now), joking about throwing out anyone in his cabinet who also doesn't agree.

If the Overture One takes flight as a replacement for Air Force One, you can bet Musk will have a seat right by the POTUS' side. The question is, will their budding bromance last the entirety of the latest Trump administration?
