Although Rockstar Games has become known for its almost ridiculous attention to detail across Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, one tiny mistake spotted by keen-eyed fans in the latest GTA 6 trailer has fans jokingly branding the game 'literally unplayable'.
This disappointment of a lengthy delay was quickly washed away once the second trailer for GTA 6 was released, as a deeper look at the jaw-dropping world of the game made many fans lose their minds.
In particular, it was Rockstar's claim that gameplay footage comprised around half of what was shown during the trailer that really shocked people, leading some dedicated viewers to make impressively detailed breakdowns themselves.

However, all that close inspection has allowed some to spot one minuscule detail that doesn't quite fall in line with the immaculate presentation you'd now expect from GTA 6, and it has created plenty of jokes within the fanbase.
As reported by PC Gamer, Reddit user u/Cat_With_Banana96 spotted a tiny mishap in the latest trailer where co-main character Jason's pistol creates the light of a muzzle flash before the gunshot actually appears.
"Don't know if someone already noticed it but wanted to mention it," they wrote, accompanying their claim with two screenshots showing the blunder clear as day.

While it's a mistake that most developers wouldn't even think twice about - especially as it's present in what seems to be a cutscene as opposed to actual gameplay - it wouldn't be surprising if this error has left some Rockstar devs fuming considering they went far enough to include bubbles in a bottle of beer.
Thankfully, the fanbase isn't taking this goof seriously in the slightest, although many have taken the opportunity to get their jokes in about how it ruins the otherwise picture-perfect presentation of GTA 6 so far.
"That's it, pre-order cancelled," jokes the top comment of the thread, with another poking fun that they "can't believe I was so excited over this f***ing hunk of trash."

Many of the same comments have been facetiously made throughout the thread, with some even joking that Rockstar made the decision to delay GTA 6 in order to fix this issue alone.
Some have even tried to rationalize how and why this might have happened, coming up with a few fascinating theories from both a realistic and game development point of view.
"Obviously someone else was shooting before him," speculates one user, and that could be a plausible explanation if it's a close quarters gunfight.

However, a second comment breaks down how this is likely due to how the weapon works within the game's actual programming. "He's firing an M9 or clone like the Taurus from GTA V. It has an open air slide that likely illuminated before the muzzle flash."
Continuing on, they wrote: "For all those crying 'you know nothing about how guns work', no s*** it's unrealistic, I was giving an explanation on why it is likely happening not how it works in reality. The lighting of the flash is likely shining through the model of the pistol."
Regardless of how this blunder came to be, it's a complete non-issue that thankfully has no bearing on the quality of the game - although you can't blame player for filling the lengthy wait for GTA 6 with a few jokes here and there!
