Rockstar Games has made an insane claim about the GTA 6 second trailer and fans have been left in disbelief.
The second trailer for the highly anticipated game finally dropped and fans were losing their minds over how good the quality is.
Gamers have been waiting for the release of the sixth instalment of Grand Theft Auto since it was first announced back in February 2022, with the fifth version having come out all the way back in September 2013.

Fans hoped they would have the new edition in their hands by the end of this year and things seemed to be on track.
In February this year, Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive shared an official update to reassure fans after fears grew that the game could face delays.

At the time, it revealed that the game was still on track to be released in the autumn of 2025, with CEO Strauss Zelnick saying: “With development of the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series well underway, the Rockstar Games team is determined to once again set creative benchmarks for the series, our industry, and for all entertainment, just as the label has done with every one of their frontline releases.”
However, much to the disappointment of gamers, GTA 6 has since faced delays in getting to the shelves and is now expected to arrive next year with an official release date confirmed for May 26, 2026.
It’s not all bad news though, a second trailer was subsequently released and it seems like the game could be well worth the wait.
This is after Rockstar Games spoke out on social media to reveal that half of the scenes in the latest trailer are gameplay.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the game developing company said: “Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 was captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5, comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes.”
Fans were shocked by the revelation, with many taking to the comment section to share their own reactions.
One user wrote: “Wait… Rockstar are claiming that HALF of these scenes in GTA 6’s second trailer are gameplay?! So Jason driving along for example could just be what the game looks like as we play it?! That is wild.”

Another said: “Yeah looks like a new cinematic camera angle while driving. I’m guessing the first half of the trailer was mostly to all gameplay, with the second half being cutscenes with some gameplay.”
And a third person added: “This is gonna be epic.”
