A video allegedly 'leaked' from Apple's factory reveals the iPhone 17 a week ahead of its flagship event.
Apple's highly anticipated September 9th event is just around the corner, where the iPhone 17 is expected to make its debut.
But tech fans might be getting an early peek at what's coming.
A seemingly 'leaked' video posted on Chinese social media platform Weibo claims to show the iPhone 17 Pro Max production line.

The caption roughly translates to: "Something big has happened, the suspected iPhone 17 Pro Max mass production machine has been leaked." The brief clip shows someone picking up what appears to be a large, silver iPhone from a row of similar devices on what looks like a factory assembly line.
The most striking feature is a massive camera island that spans the entire top of the device, similar to what we've seen on Google's Pixel 10.
Meanwhile, the camera setup appears to include three main cameras arranged in a triangle formation, with two smaller sensors positioned on the opposite side of the island, which aligns with earlier rumours about the iPhone 17's camera system.
Perhaps the most unusual design element shown in the leak is a large, rectangular glass panel covering most of the phone's back.

If accurate, the leaks suggest one of Apple's most radical changes since the removal of the iPhone home button.
The rear panel features the iconic Apple logo in the centre and appears in greyish-white on the silver model and matte black on the black version.

Furthermore, the leaked iPhone 17 Pro Max appears to be somewhat wider than previous models, though it's hard to judge the exact dimensions from the brief video.
As for colours, the clip mainly showcases the silver and black models, but you can catch a tiny glimpse of a soft, bronze-like hue in the background.
Previous leaks have suggested Apple might be going bolder with the iPhone 17 Pro Max colour options, including blue and even orange variants.
Before we get too excited, though, these devices could easily be dummy phones for phone case manufacturers.

For more definitive answers, it looks like we'll just have to wait for the big reveal on 9 September.
The official invite from Apple reads: "Please join us in person for a special Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. September 9, 2025."
Meanwhile, Apple CEO Tim Cook posted on X: "Get ready for an awe dropping #AppleEvent on Tuesday, September 9!"
