
Apple’s upcoming ‘Surprise and Shine’ event is set to happen this week, with fans highly anticipating that the address will unveil some of the tech giant’s latest products.
Apple revealed that this Wednesday (September 9) it will be holding its annual phone event, with users expecting the new iPhone 18 lineup to be displayed for the first time.
Fans have been anxiously waiting for confirmation of the event as rumors have been swirling as to what the firm might have up its sleeve.
With the departure of Apple CEO Tim Cook earlier this month, it is thought that successor John Ternus will be taking the reins to talk through new products that the tech giant is launching.
Rumored Apple products
There is not much known about what Apple plans to unveil this week but, of course, there are plenty of rumors speculating as to what it could be.

With many expecting the full iPhone 18 lineup to be unveiled, some also believe that details of the company’s first ever foldable device, which is reportedly known as the iPhone Ultra, will also be shared.
There have also been reports that a new Apple Watch Series 12 could also be set to drop this week, with the smartwatch apparently coming with a whole host of new features for users.
How to watch the Apple iPhone event
If you want to tune in to the event for yourself, you can do so online as it will be livestreamed globally for Apple fans at home.
The ‘Surprise and Shine’ event will begin at 1pm Eastern Time or 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, and is available to watch live on the Apple YouTube channel as well as the Apple website and through the Apple TV app.
For the lucky few invited to attend in person, the event will be hosted at the Steve Jobs theater in Apple Park, Cupertino, California.
New iOS 27 features
Alongside new devices, Apple is also set to launch its new iOS 27 in the coming weeks, which includes a range of new features such as Siri AI.

On the website, Apple explains: “Siri AI can help users find what they need in the moment, from answering questions from the web on virtually any topic, to surfacing relevant information from a user’s personal messages, emails, photos, and more.
“Siri AI also includes a dedicated app for users to revisit conversations across their products, an expanded Visual Intelligence experience, and integrated tools for writing.
“With a bold new architecture uniquely designed to protect users’ privacy, Siri AI leverages the next generation of Apple Intelligence to bring state-of-the-art understanding and reasoning, along with powerful system-wide capabilities, to Apple’s operating systems. These features are available for developer testing starting today, and will be available as a beta to users later this year.”
