iPhone users love learning a new hack or hidden feature on their device that makes their lives just a little easier.
Let's face it, anything that saves time and effort these days can't be overlooked.
Former Apple employee Tyler Morgan has built his 1.8 million followers TikTok reputation around sharing his tech tips, from using your Camera app more efficiently to debunking phone battery myths.

Now, after one Apple iPhone owner shared the 'most underrated iOS feature' on Reddit, other users are asking to 'share details' so they can unlock it on their devices.

The lesser-known feature immediately shows all your flight data, saving precious time searching Google and websites for information.
Thankfully, no apps are needed for this nifty hack as it's a built-in feature of the iOS operating system.
Curious how to do it?
All you need to do is swipe down from the middle of the iPhone Home screen and type the flight number into the search field. An information card will then pop up with the airline and additional details, tap this, et Voila!

All your flight details are readily available, including the airline, departure and arrival times, flight duration and live status. If someone sends you a flight number (AF199) in iMessage, just press and hold the underlined number to see the flight’s real-time progress plotted on a map. This feature is a total lifesaver for anyone picking you up at the airport and needs regular flight updates.
And it’s not just limited to the Home screen.

Other users on the forum added that the same information comes up when you type the flight number into iMessage, Notes or any app that is 'contextually aware.'

Some tech-savvy iPhone owners who were already aware of the feature have praised it, writing: "LOVE this feature. Even better when you message someone the flight info and they can just click on it."
Another chimed in: "You mean I could’ve done this the whole time instead of googling and looking for different websites".
According to MacRumors, the Spotlight hack is also available on a Mac. To access the same details, simply press Command-Spacebar to open Spotlight and type in the flight number into the input field. Then, you'll see all the same information card that appears in iOS.
Meanwhile, Android fans were quick to point out that they have a similar feature whereby you can 'pin it to the notification shade' and receive 'live updates.'
