Apple is gearing up to introduce the new iPhone 17 line-up in less than a month.
New leaks and rumours are keeping the Apple community entertained before we see what could be one of the biggest shake-ups to the iPhone’s design in years.
With that, here's everything we know so far about Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 series.
Following Apple's usual September launch pattern, expert sources suggest that the iPhone 17 will be announced the week commencing 9 September, which is the week immediately after Labour Day.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Tuesday 9 or Wednesday 10 is more likely, while German tech site iphone-ticker.de agreed that shipping will commence on Friday 19 September. Pre-orders will most likely go live on Friday 12 September.
Given President Trump's tariff threats back in May, analysts hint that Apple's products will see a price hike by the time the iPhone 17 launches.
Specifically, Weibo leaker Instant Digital claimed that the iPhone 17 Pro will increase in price by $50 to $1,050 in the US, but the base storage will also double from 128GB to 256GB.

That said, Gurman reported that the iPhone 17 Air (which replaces the Plus model) will cost the same as the iPhone 16 Plus ($899/£899).
The iPhone 17 Air is likely to represent the tech giant's most dramatic design change in a long time. Leaker IceUniverse claimed it could measure just 5.5mm thick, which is thinner than any previous iPhone.
Meanwhile, Majin Bu (a leaker with a mixed track record) suggested that Apple was prototyping an iPhone with the volume and action buttons unified into one single button, in a similar mechanism seen on the iPhone 16 Pro.

The iPhone 17 will also feature a single 48MP rear camera housed in a horizontal pill-shaped camera bar, similar to those seen on Google Pixel phones. It's also expected to come with a 6.6-inch OLED display including ProMotion, Dynamic Island and Face ID, as per Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Prototype images spotted in July appear to confirm this radical departure from Apple's familiar square camera bump.
According to a July report from Macworld, a pale sky blue colour seems to be underway for the iPhone 17 Air.

Additionally, Macworld claimed the base iPhone 17 models may come in black, white, steel grey, light blue, green, and purple – replacing some of the iPhone 16's brighter colours.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are rumoured to feature black, white, grey (similar to natural titanium) colours, as well as dark navy blue and vibrant orange, inspired by the Apple Watch Ultra’s action button.
All iPhone 17 models will seemingly feature Apple's new A19 chip, with Pro models getting the upgraded A19 Pro, Gurman said. A significant RAM boost from 8GB to 12GB across all models would better support Apple Intelligence features. The iPhone 17 Air may also include Apple’s own C1 modem and won’t offer a SIM tray.

Finally, Wi-Fi 7 support is expected across the entire range and Pro models may gain a new vapour chamber cooling system for better heat management.
