A pair of Twitch live streamers experienced something a bit more severe than technical difficulties while on a hike in the Swiss Alps, as a closed-off path led the creators to reach a point where they were forced into calling the emergency services.
Live streamers can often get themselves in a wide variety of unusual and often wild scenarios, as popular YouTuber iShowSpeed only recently had a fan smash their head on the glass of a restaurant he was in.
Others have engaged in rather unethical practices that have left them in prison with terrifying sentences looming over their head, yet a pair of wholesome IRL streamers found out that nature was against them while they embarked on a crazy challenge.
As reported by Dexerto, Twitch creators 'RelicKris' and 'ManukiEmi' took upon themselves the challenge of scaling one of Switzerland's most famous mountain ranges, Schilthorn, only with an unexpected twist: they were to do the whole journey with a PC strapped to their pack.

This wasn't any form of handheld or mini PC that would act as a cop out of sorts, they brought a full Fractal Terra build which, while in the 'Mini ITX' category – is still something that you'd definitely feel on your back as you were scaling a mountain.

Schilthorn is definitely nothing to scoff at either, as it features a peak height of 2,970 meters (9,744 feet), which is just under seven times the height of the Empire State Building, tip included.
The pair had planned to follow a specific route, and had even cancelled two previous attempts to scale the mountain, but upon reaching a certain point on their journey they realised that rockfall had blocked off their path.
While some might have taken this as a sign to not continue, they decided to persevere and keep walking along the designated diversion, but that quickly became an issue as they found themselves effectively stuck upon the steep sides of the mountain.

"Today was not supposed to be dangerous," explained one of the streamers while stuck in their tracks. "The safe track got washed away. It got destroyed. We didn't know this. There was no information, no apps. So we had to take a detour, and that was a bit dangerous."
They had consulted their live stream's chat for advice on the matter, but eventually made the decision to call and alert the emergency services, which thankfully were able to come and rescue them from the mountainside.
RelicKris has revealed that he "wouldn't put lives at risk for content," when asked about why they decided to stop their hike, adding that doing so would be "just stupid."
