A top streamer has shocked fans after he brutally called out the CEO of Twitch for what he said about his favorite streamers.
Felix Lengyel, who is better known under his streamer name xQc, has spoken out about Twitch CEO Dan Clancey after he appeared on Kai Cenat’s stream to congratulate him on hitting the milestone of a million subscribers.
During the broadcast, Cenat quizzed the CEO on who would be on his ‘streamer Mount Rushmore’.
Much to Lengyel’s shock, he wasn’t on the list and instead Clancey named Cenat, Ninja, Pokimane and CohCornage, while also mentioning iShowSpeed.

Lengyel didn’t appear to be too pleased about not being including and has now fired back, claiming that he pioneering many of the modern trends in streaming.
The clip is now doing the rounds on social media, with Lengyel insisting that he has done the groundwork that a lot of other streamers now get credit for.
On his live stream, the content creator also mentioned other streamers who were left off the list, saying: “Without Reckful [and the] Sodapoppin era… the reality is that the whole timeline is backed up further.
“You don’t get IRL, the concept of full cam like this, right? What was early game pushed by the names I just named. Without that, we’re in the f***ing cave ages.

He went on to add: “I crawled. I walked. I f***ing… Bro, I did anything so anybody could run. I didn’t just crawl. I crawled and walked so people could run.”
Many people have taken to social media themselves to react to the video, with many weighing in with their own thoughts on the matter.
On X, formerly Twitter, one user wrote: “Whether you love him or hate him, xQc is Twitch history.”

Another said: “ABSOF***INGLUTELY! I just said this EXACT same thing during my stream & even called him a moron completely disconnected from reality. He has no idea what OG’s did to even make Twitch what it is today. All the people that ported from JTV to Twitch made an unknown website worth $970 million dollars which is what Amazon paid for at the time of sale.
“@xQc Can we get a full list of the key OG’s that made it possible for ME & everyone else possible to stream? I understand why Twitch staff won’t say nothing but they absolutely know the truth.”
And a third person added: “A little sour grapes.”
