Asmongold leaks insane streaming revenue as he vows to never leave Twitch

The streamer exposed exactly how much his streaming platforms pay

Asmongold leaks insane streaming revenue as he vows never to leave Twitch.

Content creators have become increasingly open about revealing their earnings.

Whether from streaming games, YouTube ad revenue, or OnlyFans subscriptions, it seems social media can often generate more money than traditional jobs pay. Though sometimes, these revelations are more accidental than intentional.

Now, popular streamer Asmongold has explained why he has no plans to abandon Twitch for rival platform Kick, despite leaking his October earnings that show a massive income disparity between the two platforms.

Asmongold ranks among the internet's top content creators, boasting millions of followers across X, Twitch, Kick and YouTube.

His combination of gaming content and increasingly controversial takes on political and cultural matters has built him a massive audience - and made him a fortune in the process.

On 3 November, the streamer revealed that he’d been 'nerfed' on Twitch and wasn’t making anywhere near as much as he once was. To prove his point, he exposed his dashboard, which showed exactly what he earned during October.

According to the stats, Asmongold pulled in just under $20,000 on Twitch through subscriber revenue while making a whopping $165,000 on Kick.

“[Kick has] a partner incentive program,” he explained. “If I turned this off and I only stream on Kick, I’d probably make close to $1M a month, because they double your hourly rate if you stream exclusively on Kick.”

However, he simply 'doesn't feel like' broadcasting exclusively on Kick, noting that some of his viewers prefer watching on Twitch.

“What, am I not making enough money?” he asked. “Who cares. If I wanted to do something that would make a lot of money, this is a weird thing to talk about. I have so much money now that I could do something that would make a lot more money than streaming at this point.”

He added that it’s 'not about money anymore' and that he would make significantly more by having other people do something for him on a larger scale.

While he didn't provide details on exactly what he means by this, he compared how former Activision-Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick makes 'real money' compared to successful rappers.

Despite having the resources to live in luxury, Asmongold has been keen to document his decidedly average way of living, as well as his questionable diet and hygiene habits.

Elsewhere in the content world, another popular streamer, MoistCr1TiKaL, decided to turn off all monetisation on his revenue streams to encourage viewers to donate to charitable causes. During his online career, MoistCr1TiKaL revealed he's made a whopping $41.3 million across both YouTube and Twitch.
