The move of big names to Kick continues, and while Twitch once reigned supreme in the streaming wars, it's losing some major players to the Green Team. After the likes of Adin Ross and Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff were hit with bans on Twitch (sometimes temporary), they decided to nestle in under the green hue of Kick, and for many of them, it's been a lucrative move.
Others like Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa and Felix "xQc" Lengyel have moved of their own volition, with the latter boasting an eye-watering $100 million deal with Kick back in June 2023.
Still, Kick has become a hotbed for controversy, like the permaban of Yousef "Fousey" Erakat or "CrazyTwan carving 'KICK.COM' into a national monument. More recently, there was the case of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who is currently detained in the Philippines over an alarming rap sheet he streamed on the platform.

Despite Kick's naysayers, it's clear streamers can rake in a not-so-small fortune. You might remember Zack "Asmongold" Hoyt as that guy who got in a spat with Elon Musk, but now, he's back to show off his impressive earnings when compared to his time on Twitch.
As shared by Dexerto, Hoyt took to Kick on June 2, multistreaming alongside Twitch and bringing in plenty of interest. Unlike xQc's jaw-dropping signing, Asmongold chose to go with the Kick Partner Program. This lets creators earn money based on how many viewers they have, as well as taking a beefy 95% cut of each subscription.
During his third stream (on June 4), Asmongold shocked viewers when he decided to compare the earnings from his first two outings on Kick to a whole month of Twitch earnings.

Crunching the numbers, Hoyt deduced that the period from May 6 to June 4 on Twitch included around 211 hours of streaming, 1 hour and 50 minutes of ad breaks, and 11,453 subscriptions. This led to a respectable $32,371, and while most of us would be happy with this, that's nothing compared to his two Kick streams totalling $36,910.
His six-hour June 2 broadcast equalled $19,703, while a seven-hour stint on June 3 added a further $17,207.

A hysterical Asmongold said: "Two of them?! What the f**k is going on? Oh my god, oh no, oh my god, bro."
Unable to believe his eyes, he added: "So there it is, that's two days. That's two motherf**kin' days...and that's not even being exclusive to Kick, that's insane, right?"
Given his newfound fortune, something tells us that Kick could become the new home of the controversial streamer, because looking at Asmongold's current earnings, there's no arguing with the numbers.
