YouTuber reveals insane earnings after disabling all monetization

MoistCr1TiKaL has told people to stop giving him money

A YouTuber has revealed their insane earnings after disabling all of his monetization.

A popular content creator known as MoistCr1TiKaL, whose real name is Charles White Jr, announced that he had decided to turn off all monetization on both his YouTube and Twitch streams.

This is done by disabling super chats, channel memberships and encouraging people not to subscribe to him on Twitch.

White claimed that he had chosen to do this to avoid fans ‘wasting’ their money on him, instead he encouraged his viewers, who wanted to spend, to put the money towards charitable causes.

The following week, the YouTuber released the total earnings he has made since starting his channel back in 2007.

Initially talking about his Twitch earnings, White said: “From 2017 to 2019 I made $55,500. It was just a bit of goofing around, having some fun.”

However, from 2019 to 2021, his wealth began to grow, earning up to $1,285,782 in those years.

From 2021 to 2024, the streamer made an incredible $4,158,749, not including the cash he made from sponsorships or brand deals.

White continued: “Compare that to a normal person actually working their ass off every single day in a 9-5, grinding in hopes of chasing the American dream, and they come home, maybe turn on my stream and donate a couple dollars to me. It doesn’t sit right with me, taking that kind of money, given what I’ve made from all of this.

“I really should have stopped this a long time ago, especially considering this is just the Twitch side of things.”

In total, the social media star has made a total earning of a whopping $35.8 million, with both YouTube and Twitch combined, the figure goes even higher, standing at $41.3 million.

White said: “I never imagined that amount of money was possible to earn without being born rich. I have said since say one, I got incredibly lucky. I’m not special. I got lucky.”

Before ending the video, White said that he ‘doesn’t care’, if other creators who make even more money that he does continue to keep their subscriptions or donations switched on.

This is because according to White, he is ‘not trying to lead some sort of revolution’, but he said that he has noticed how a ‘multitude of creators’ have downplayed how much money they are making online, speculating that this is due to fear of becoming unrelatable.
