YouTuber who's visited every country in world revealed 'worst' place where he was told 'not to go outside'

Might be one to take off your bucket list

If 2025 has taught us anything, it's that nothing beats a Jet2 holiday.

Other airlines are available, but when it comes to packing a case, sticking on your sunglasses, and flying away to catch some sun, there really are few better feelings.

While we're sure many of you have your own travel bucket list, we doubt there are many who can boast that they've visited every country in the world.

Although the likes of Bolivia, North Korea, and Turkmenistan are notoriously difficult to visit, they've all got their own stamps in Drew Binsky's passport – regularly sharing his adventures with his six million subscribers on YouTube.

Having rattled off the 'best' places he's visited and the ones he felt most unsafe, Binsky has given his ranking of the 'worst'. In fact, it was so bad, he was told not to go outside.

Then again, one person's dream vacation sailing the Nile in Egypt or watching the Northern Lights in Iceland is another's worst nightmare. Binksy himself acknowledges this, telling viewers: "Travel is very subjective, based on your own personal travel experiences and there are many variables that can make or break a trip."

He listed Brunei, Chad, Djibouti, and Guinea as some of his least favorite destinations to visit, but these all pale in comparison to his 'worst' winner.

Even though Djibouti gave him a hard time about his visa and Guinea was marred because he visited during a coup, Guyana is the country he doesn't plan on visiting again. Discussing his visit to Guyana, Binsky admitted: "The capital of Georgetown is not a great place. I felt very unsafe."

Saying he arrived at a hostel in the city center, the staff spoke to him at 7 pm and warned him not to go outside. The seasoned traveller was reportedly told, "Have you dinner and come back, and we’re gonna lock you inside."

The reason is apparently due to attacks and kidnappings, which we imagine isn't included in the tourist brochures. Importantly, the US State Department lists Guyana as a Level 3 country, meaning you should reconsider travel. The official guidance adds: "Violent crime, including murder and armed robbery, is common, especially at night. Local police often lack the resources to respond effectively to serious criminal incidents."

Binksy claims it was the first time he's been told he shouldn't go outside. At least he got to visit the country's only golf course, with the YouTuber saying: "I went to Guyana and met a local caddy guy, and he took me around.

"It’s just that place where you always kind of feel like you’re looking over your shoulder for whatever reason."

Also visiting a local market, he reiterated it's the kind of place where you'll want to stay 'low-key’. Ultimately, Binsky concluded: "It's just that place where you always kind of feel like you're looking over your shoulder for whatever reason."

Despite being the only English-speaking country and the only one in South America that has English as its official language, Guyana is also said to be the least visited.

Binsky said he thought about not making the video due to its negative context, but in lighter news, he said if anyone from the countries mentioned above wants to invite him back for another visit, he's more than happy to change his mind.
