A YouTuber who has traveled to every country in the world has revealed where he felt the most unsafe.

Content creator Drew Binksy is known for sharing his experiences traveling around the globe, having notably visited every single country in the world.

And now, the YouTuber has detailed which places made him feel the least safe.

Mogadishu, Somalia

Mogadishu, which is the capital city of Somalia, was number one on the list of least safe places, according to the YouTuber.

In the video, he explained: “This place has no rules, no laws. Al-Shabaab is present, which is an offshoot of al-Qaeda. Every time you leave your hotel, you need to have a convoy in the front and back with four bulletproof vest military guys sitting on the beds of each truck with huge AK-47s in their hand and scouting out the area before you go.

“Last time I went, I visited my friend at the Hyatt Hotel, which actually is gone because it was attacked and there’s no more Hyatt Hotel. And it’s just very, very scary and very unfortunate.”

Conakry, Guinea

In the second spot is Conakry, the capital of Guinea, which Binksy described as being his ‘least favorite place’ in West Africa.

Recalling his time there, the YouTuber shared how he walked around for 10 minutes and had already been stopped by two police officers.

He continued: “I was caught in a coup. They were trying to overthrow the government. So there were policemen with shields and face masks. It was a complete mess to even walk outside the hotel. Not to mention the city is boring. There's nothing to do and it's very, very hostile.”

Kandahar, Afghanistan

Binksy wasn’t a fan of the city of Kandahar, which he shared is the ‘head of the Taliban’.

The social media star added: “Back in the day, even before the Taliban recently took over Afghanistan, it had been the head for the last 25 years. I traveled to Kandahar and it was crazy to see the big barbed wire complexes where a lot of big decisions were made and you can just feel the tense air and even walking through the markets, which is really cool and traditional.

“It’s like a very ancient city, but there’s this like layer of intensity having to look over your shoulder where you walk. I love Afghanistan, but I just got to admit Kandahar is definitely the most unsafe place. But the situation might be different now.”

Port-au-Prince, Haiti

In fourth place is Port-au-Prince, where Binksy went into a ‘gang controlled area near the airport with my guide’, describing the city as ‘total chaos’.

With thugs controlling the area, there was no choice but to pay them off in order to carry on with the journey.

Binksy said: “Gangsters with big guns in their pockets taking me around. It was so scary. I thought I was going to get kidnapped and they actually did kidnap my guide and another fellow YouTuber named Arab. They were both kidnapped a few months after I left.

“Crazy situation in Haiti and I just hope it gets better.”

Tripoli, Libya

Number five is Tripoli, Libya, which is ‘really hard’ there, according to the YouTuber.

Binksy visited the city in North Africa back in 2018, where he said that he was falling asleep to the sound of bombs in my hotel room.

He continued: “My bed frame was literally shaking and a hotel front desk dude was like, ‘Yeah, it’s just 5 miles away. No worries’. I was like, ‘Five miles? That’s right there’.”

Binksy added: “It was very hard to walk out on the streets in public with all the policemen and asking me questions and obviously they don’t get many tours, but I heard nowadays it is easier to go to Libya and it’s more open without civil war. So, I hope to visit again.”
