Ozzy Osbourne's iconic reality TV series is available to watch completely for free

The Prince of Darkness' legacy lives on

While the world is still reeling from the tragic passing of Ozzy Osbourne, the self-confessed Prince of Darkness' death at the age of 76 has at least brought the world of rock music together like never before.

Known as the co-founder and vocalist of Black Sabbath, Osbourne also had a lucrative solo career, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, founded the Ozzfest music festival, and appeared in a slew of movies and video games.

Like gamers have been flocking to replay the underrated Brutal Legend that featured Osbourne's likeness and vocals as The Guardian of Metal, it's time to dive back into Ozzy's eclectic filmography and see what we might've missed.

Alongside popping up for a hilarious cameo in the third Austin Powers movie, you might hear a familiar voice in 2001's Moulin Rouge!, while Osbourne led three seasons of Ozzy & Jack's World Detour alongside his son.

Of course, those of the MTV era will remember him from the bizarre family antics of The Osbournes. The hit reality TV series ran for four seasons and 52 episodes, making reality TV gold as Sharon threw a Christmas ham into the neighbor's garden, Kelly and Jack fought over Christina Aguilera, and Ozzy ranted about bubbled: "I'm f**king Ozzy Osbourne, the Prince of f**king Darkness. Evil! Evil! What's f**king evil about a butt-load of f**king bubbles!?”

The Osbournes is well worth a revisit, and thankfully, you don't have to look too far to get your fix because the official Osbournes YouTube channel has a ton of episodes for free.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show's finale, episodes started being uploaded to the platform as of March 2025. The majority of episodes from The Osbournes are there, so if you want to see Ozzy argue with the TV, Ozzy argue with their many pets, or Ozzy argue with the ocean, now you can.

Despite drumming up plenty of controversy, The Osbournes is cited as MTV's most-watched show. No real surprise considering there was behind-the-scenes drama, with Sharon and Ozzy's daughter, Aimee, refusing to be part of it.

Aimee was embarrassed by her parents' antics, and in scenes featuring family photos, she's often missing or blurred.

Ozzy himself wasn't much of a fan, and as well as saying he refuses to watch the show because he was stoned the entire time, he later hyped his comeback album in 2013 and told NME: "Of course I regret doing the f**king show (The Osbournes). I didn’t want to be on f**king television. I didn’t become a f**king rock’n’roll singer to read the fucking weather forecast, know what I mean? It’s part of the reason I wanted to come back. This album p*sses on all that.”

There had been talk of a pseudo revival of The Osbournes that followed the family's more recent adventures in the United Kingdom. The project was announced as Home to Roost in 2022, supposed to air on the BBC and iPlayer in 2023 as ten 30-minute episodes.

Home to Roost has still never been aired, but following Ozzy's death, there are hopes it could be released as one final hurrah. In the meantime, we’re off to binge The Osbournes.
