One woman appeared to spot a gigantic alien spaceship hidden within a cloud, causing people on social media to become convinced that a UFO was indeed flying over North America.
The post, shared by Chary Woods on a Facebook group dedicated to photographs of clouds, shows a wide orange-tinted cloud with a distinct saucer-like shape in the middle that's noticeably darker than the trail it leaves to the left.
As shared by the Daily Mail, many of the other members of the Facebook group congratulated Woods on her jaw-dropping photograph, complimenting her camera skills in the process, but few also pointed out the cloud's similarities to a UFO.
"Yes, I do believe in UFOs," one commenter exclaimed, with another even noting that its beauty might lead some to believe that it was crafted using AI.

While there's no evidence that this is indeed an alien spaceship, it's shape and the trail following behind make it incredibly easy to mistake it for one, and it's even caught the attention of some of the internet's biggest UFO researchers.
Could this cloud really be a UFO?
Sharing his thoughts on the UFO Sightings Daily blog, alien researcher Scott C Waring explained why he believes that this particular cloud is hiding something far more mysterious — and perhaps even a vessel that humanity has to worry out in the imminent future.
"This is a UFO cloaked within a cloud that it created," Waring boldly claimed, noting that "when you add contrast to the photo, the alien classic disk craft becomes visible at its center."

He argues that "aliens have used this technique for millions of years, always working until now," with Woods' otherwise innocuous Facebook post seemingly demystifying and destroying the cloaking technology that had hidden extraterrestrials from our view for all of humanity's history.
"UFOs use clouds to fly closer to the ground in order to scan the thoughts of humans below," Waring continued. "I think UFO researchers worldwide will agree with me on this. Aliens... they like to think they are smarter than humans... but sometimes... only their ego is bigger."
While Waring might be confident in his assessment that this is indeed evidence of an alien mind-reading spacecraft, the strong likelihood is that it's simply an interestingly-shaped cloud that happens to resemble a classic saucer ship, and nothing that we actually have to worry about.
U.S. government reveals UAP files
There's certainly UFO fever spreading across the United States right now, however, and U.S. President Donald Trump's coordinated release of various declassified files relating to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and potential alien sightings is at the heart of it all.

So far there have been four separate releases throughout the 'UFO files', yet people have found little actual meaningful evidence of extraterrestrial life within, observing only third-party written accounts and military-esque footage that doesn't actually prove anything.
It's prompted many to call for actual cold hard evidence to be revealed, with demands even from some leading scientists, yet major figures adjacent to the Trump administration have assured people that 'real' alien disclosures are on their way and will be revealed in due course.
