One expert at Harvard University has issued a chilling warning regarding the mysterious unknown object currently hurtling towards Earth, and he claims that it's a 'mothership' that could signal an impending alien invasion.
The existence of alien life is arguably the biggest global conspiracy that continues to drive people crazy, as you have individuals all across the world who dedicate themselves to uncovering the truth behind extraterrestrial life.
UFO hunting and government cover ups give plenty of alien enthusiasts enough to hold on to in hope that something is indeed living out there in the endless expanse of space, and one group of scientists might just have provided a morsel of hope towards a visit in the near future.
An object known as 3I/ATLAS was initially spotted by scientists at the NASA funded ATLAS Survey telecope in Río Hurtado, Chile last month, and there have been plenty of theories surrounding its status and purpose.

It's odd shape and alarming speed have left many scientists questioning what it is and where it came from, but a group of experts from Harvard have proposed that it could be a 'mothership' hosting highly intelligent alien lifeforms.
Research proposed by Avi Loeb, Adam Hibberd, and Adam Crowl is the source of these claims, as they suggest that the consequences if this prediction came true "could potentially be dire for humanity," as reported by UNILAD.
One detail in particular that has supported their claims is the fact that 3I/ATLAS will disappear from view for scientists from November onwards, as it will then be hidden behind the Sun as it passes by.

"This could be intentional to avoid detail observations from Earth-based telescopes when the object is brightest or when gadgets are sent to Earth from that hidden vantage point," one of the scientists argued.
They believe that the idea of 3I/ATLAS being a comet is false, as "usually for comets, you see a tail trailing behind the object. Here, the glow is actually in front of it. We've never seen such a thing. A comet doesn't glow in front," Loeb illustrated.
On its path towards Earth the mysterious object will also pass by Jupiter and Mars, suggesting that the aliens are making stops along the way to study our solar system.

Not all scientists are on board with these theories though, as plenty have asserted that there's zero possibility that 3I/ATLAS is connected to alien life, even though it hasn't been fully understood yet.
University of Oxford scientist Chris Lintott has argued that "any suggestion that it's artificial is nonsense on stilts," adding that the work of the trio is an "insult to the exciting work going on to understand this object."
Additionally, one astronomer from the University of Regina has asserted that 3I/ATLAS is just an 'ordinary comet', arguing that "all evidence points towards this being an ordinary comet that was ejected from another solar system, just as countless billions of comets have been ejected from our own solar system."
