'Living Nostradamus' warns 'the worst is yet to come' in 2025' as he makes frightening cybersecurity predictions

He claims World War III is 'imminent'

We're only a few days into 2025, but already, we're being warned that World War III could be on the way.

As if we didn't have enough to worry about with world leaders having their finger on the red button, artificial intelligence threatening to put us out of work, and Tesla's Optimus robots trying to replace us, we've now got supposed mystics predicting the end of days.

Thankfully, we could all soon be put out of our misery according to the so-called 'Living Nostradamus'.

While the OG Nostradamus has been dead and buried for nearly 460 years, there's always someone trying to replace him. If it's not Moo Deng the hippo, it's Athos Salomé.

Known as the Living Nostradamus, the 37-year-old from Brazil has already got 2025 off to a miserable start.

Speaking to Femail, Salomé has claimed that the 'worst is yet to come' in 2025. According to the Living Nostradamus, we're on the brink of World War III thanks to cyber threats and the digitalization of major powers.

Following the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the idea of using machines in battle is a real danger that Salomé thinks we should be looking at: "This is not just a war of men, but of machines, and in this aspect what comes next?"

It comes after Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia's Vladimir Putin of orchestrating a Christmas Day attack with over 70 missiles and 100 drones that supposedly targeted energy infrastructure sites.

Salomé warns: "At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, Russia is ready to protect itself 'by any measure.'

"The employment of high technology equipment to engage in the conflict is therefore, without doubt, raising the sentiments of escalating the war."

If that wasn't enough to contend with, he's also predicted the threat of a cold war between the USA and China will eventually heat up: "Of course, recent mutual accusations of cyber espionage raised the concern over a devastating imminent hacker attack that might paralyse the defence systems or infrastructure."

Apparently, we could be heading toward a 'coordinated global failure', where he thinks the South China Sea will become a crucial battleground involving massive cyber attacks.

The Living Nostradamus continued: "Currently, there is some group that can perform a synchronised operation against spaces and sea communication systems to disintegrate the military systems of the superpowers and put the superpowers in disarray."

Even if that doesn’t happen, what about ASAT (Anti-Satellite weapons) knocking out communications? We've already seen this in the form of a mysterious Russian satellite that has U.S. officials spooked.

Salomé remains convinced that we're on the cusp of an attack that will eventually bring down civilian and military systems and lead to the fabled World War III. Well, you can't say AI didn't warn us it was coming.
