Giant Elon Musk sculpture spotted at national parks make surprise appearance with four-word statement

The world's richest man recently stepped away from politics

Don't be alarmed if you come across a giant version of Elon Musk's head while taking a stroll in some of America's national parks.

Apparently, it's all part of a stunt highlighting the world's richest man's involvement with American politics and work as part of the Department of Government Efficiency.

While Elon Musk has since departed the White House in spectacular style after falling out with President Donald Trump and claiming the POTUS was named in the Epstein files, he's left behind quite a legacy.

Even though Musk didn't get anywhere near cutting the proposed $2 trillion cuts to the federal spending that he was aiming for, the fact that thousands of government workers have lost their jobs has seen his reputation take quite a hit.

Despite boycotts against Tesla and fears he could lose billions in government contracts with SpaceX, his impressive $405.6 billion net worth still makes him far and away the world's richest man.

Musk might be sitting pretty on his fortune, but that hasn't stopped him from remaining a figure of ridicule. Many think he does a good enough job of making himself look ridiculous as he wields gilded chainsaws and wears blocks of cheese on his head, but now, someone is taking their campaign of ridicule on the road.

There have been multiple reports of a 12-foot version of Musk's head appearing on a trailer in national parks. Reminding us of the decaying graveyard of presidents' heads, the smirking visage of Musk has been causing a stir.

Mounted on top of a trailer, the Musk head is adorned with patriotic stars and two messages that read, "MAKE AMERICA WAIT AGAIN," and, "Now With Longer Lines Thanks to DOGE Cuts."

Clearly mocking how the DOGE has fired thousands of employees and disrupted the way federal services operate, the bizarre scene has appeared at the Arches, Yosemite, and Mt. Rainier National Parks.

According to Fox News, this is a specifically organized stunt, with one anonymous backer explaining their motive. Speaking in a phone interview, the unnamed backer said: "You’re not the first outlet people would expect to run this. Which is exactly why I wanted to talk to you."

Referring to themselves as a concerned citizen and 'curious reader', he maintains that he has no ties to any political organization or non-profit, nor does he have any corporate interest: "No organizations, no parties — just me and a few people who care."

Stating that the Musk head is, "part protest, part performance art," he wants to reiterate how the DOGE gutted the National Park Service: "However you feel about the DOGE cuts, and we’re using that word tongue-in-cheek, the reality is that thousands of people who love these parks and work to protect them were let go or impacted. And nobody’s really talking about it anymore."

Saying how national parks are "one of the few truly nonpartisan joys we have in this country," he said that they should be enjoyed whether you're a Democrat, Republican, or Independent.

Targeting Mt. Rainier on a weekend where the parking lots were overflowing, he added: "It just felt … poetic."

Whereas some posed for photos and others made rude gestures toward the decapitated Mr. Musk, most just simply stared: "People crowded around it, took photos, laughed, flipped it off, gave it thumbs-up. It ran the gamut — a good cross-section of America."

As for the 'Make America Wait Again' slogan, he concluded: "It’s meant to spark conversation. Everyone has an opinion about Elon Musk. But I wanted this to cut across political lines."
