One major CEO has already been forced to resign following the release of the Epstein files, as email communication shows him being thanked by the convicted child sex offender for a 'torture video'.

Many powerful and influential figures have been named in the roughly three million files released by the Department of Justice, yet one important consideration is that this doesn't prove any wrongdoing, criminal activity, or involvement in Jeffrey Epstein's activities.

In fact, most of the names that could allegedly be considered as co-conspirators have remained redacted – which is a point of incredible frustration for the victims of Epstein's abuse, especially considering their identities weren't afforded the same protection.

However, key figures like Mark Zuckerberg, Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk have all been mentioned within the files or have been exposed as to having direct communications with the disgraced financier — often following his first conviction.

Much like the several government officials that are subject to ongoing investigations, one major CEO has been forced to resign from his position amid ongoing pressure following the reveal of his links to Epstein.

As reported by the BBC, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, now-former head of global ports operator DP World, has left the company after joining nearly two decades prior.

Bin Sulayem's name appears within the files more than 4,700 times following the recent releases, but the key correspondence relates to an email referencing a 'torture video', where the DP World chairman was later revealed as the recipient.

This was unveiled by Representative Thomas Massie, alongside several other then-redacted names in the files, with the email from Epstein stating:

"where are you? are you ok I loved the torture video."

What video this refers to is currently unknown, but his contacts with the deceased child sex offender stretch well beyond that, linking to a number of prominent politicians.

Emails revealed that Epstein acted as an intermediary between bin Sulayem and then-Business Secretary Peter Mandelson to allow the chairman to lobby the UK government to support the London Gateway port project in 2009, which eventually went ahead with DP World in control.

Epstein also fostered connections between bin Sulayem and then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, and he also informed Epstein that he had been invited to a lunch with Prince Andrew.

Bin Sulayem announced his decision to resign from DP World 'effective immediately' on Friday, February 13, with photos of him being removed from the company's website and Essa Kazim stepping in as his replacement alongside Yuvraj Narayan as the company's new chief executive.
