Jeffrey Epstein had a chilling response when he asked how long he's been 'attracted to underage girls' in resurfaced footage from a 2010 clip.
With mounting pressure on President Donald Trump and his administration to release the Epstein files in full, the Department of Justice (DoJ) has faced heavy criticism over redacted documents and missing photographic evidence.
The DoJ previously defended the temporary withholding of materials connected to Trump, arguing that certain pieces of evidence were being kept confidential to protect the identities of potential victims. Amid the backlash, tech billionaires are now finding themselves under scrutiny for their potential ties to the disgraced financier.

Recent revelations include emails involving Bill Gates, and new photographs appearing to show Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg at what's been described as a 'wild' dinner alongside Epstein.
Meanwhile, biohacker Bryan Johnson has clarified he never maintained contact with Epstein beyond a brief Zoom call, after which he described Epstein as a 'very dark person.'
All that said, appearing in the files or being photographed alongside Epstein doesn't automatically suggest any wrongdoing.
Following the latest document release, Musk took to X to defend himself once again, writing: "I have never been to any Epstein parties ever and have many times call for the prosecution of those who have committed crimes with Epstein."
Melinda French Gates has also spoken out about the 'painful' impact on her marriage after allegations that her ex-husband, Bill Gates, contracted a sexually transmitted disease.
Now, the Department of Justice have released footage from Epstein's February 2010 deposition, nearly a decade before his reported suicide. In the video, which is part of a wider 90-minute deposition, Epstein is asked directly how long he'd been attracted to underage girls.
In response, Epstein remarked: "Are you kidding?"
He then claimed he 'wanted' to answer but 'had to follow his attorney's advice.'
The convicted sex offender went on to say: "They have told me that I must invoke my fifth, sixth and 14th amendment right to not answer those questions today or any questions relevant to this lawsuit."
Later in the same interview, Epstein was asked about the 'underlying facts' behind the charges to which he pleaded guilty.
He answered: "I plead guilty to the solicitation of prostitution, not underage prostitution, but prostitution."
In separate footage posted on X by progressive media outlet MeidasTouch (via Huffington Post), an attorney asked Epstein whether he had a 'personal relationship' with President Trump.
“What do you mean by ‘personal relationship,’ sir?” Epstein asked in response.
“Have you socialised with him?” the attorney asked, to which Epstein replied: “Yes, sir.”
In related news, Ghislaine Maxwell also invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering questions during a deposition, unless President Trump granted her clemency.
