Some of the biggest names in the tech world have again been linked to Jeffrey Epstein, and while the shamed financier has been dead for nearly six years, there are more questions than ever about his crimes.
While it's important to reiterate that being named in the Epstein files, having corresponded with Jeffrey Epstein, or being photographed alongside him isn't an allegation of wrongdoing.
Everyone from Diana Ross to Chris Tucker appeared in pictures from a massive December 2025 release, while former President Bill Clinton was also featured prominently.
In the latest release, both Elon Musk and Bill Gates appeared in emails, with the world's richest man already issuing a lengthy statement on his alleged ties to Epstein. Gates has similarly spoken out about their relationship.

Gates' team spoke out about apparently 'false' claims that the Microsoft co-founder contracted an STD from 'Russian girls', while there are further allegations that Epstein provided antibiotics to 'surreptitiously' give to Gates' wife at the time.

Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates divorced in 2021, and in the aftermath of her ex-husband's latest mention alongside Epstein, she referred to the whole situation as 'heartbreaking'. Opening up further on how she's feeling, French Gates added: "I remember being those ages those girls were. I remember my daughters being those ages, right?
“So, for me it's personally hard whenever those details come up, because [it] brings back memories of some very, very painful times in my marriage."
Frech Gates previously mentioned the 'many things' that led to their divorce and explained back in 2022: "I did not like that he’d had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein. I made that clear to him."
While Gates says he 'regrets' every minute he spent with Epstein, their relationship (no matter how brief) continues to grab headlines.
In response to Melinda French Gates talking about the STD allegations, Elon Musk took to X to simply write, "Wow."
It's been left up to interpretation about what Musk meant with his 'wow', although others in the comments were quick to remind him about his own name appearing in the recent crop of emails. Others sympathized with Melinda's situation, and some accused her and Bill Gates of further involvement.
One person referred to Musk's infamous claims that he knew Donald Trump was in the Epstein files, adding: "Why are you acting so surprised, Elon? 🙄 Thought you already KNEW what was in the Epstein Files ages ago?!"
Another wrote: "Within 40 seconds, Melinda said seven times 'sad' and five times 'leave'...But what I think she is truly sighing deeply for at the end of this extract is the sadness of those girls being unable to leave..."
A third concluded: "Totally agree, Elon—this needs full transparency. The Epstein connections keep unraveling, and it's high time for real accountability across the board."
Despite the Epstein Files Transparency Act demanding the release of all the files, the Department of Justice has kept some back or removed them entirely as a way to protect victims, ongoing investigations, or legal privileges.
