Horrifying predictions Baba Vanga has made for the next 3,000 years are meant to start soon

Her predictions envision a dark future for humanity on Earth

Predictions and prophecies don't always come true, but it's still something that people are rightfully worried about - especially when one person manages to get so many right over the years.

One of the most famous mystics is the Bulgarian healer Baba Vanga, known also by her full name Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova. Shortly before passing away she shared countless prophecies of the future, and many of them have worryingly come true.

Much like the ancient philosopher Nostradamus, Baba Vanga was seemingly able to see into the years ahead, and she has already somehow envisioned the death of Princess Diana, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster, the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and even the 9/11 attacks.

Vanga was kind enough to tie many of her predictions to the year she seemingly foresaw it happening, and there are plenty within the 3,000 years of prophecies that are due to start soon, as reported by UNILAD.

2028

In just three years time there are already a number of predictions, but unlikely many in the past and still yet to come, these are actually some of the more hopeful.

First up, Baba Vanga envisioned that 2028 would be the year that humans would achieve a new 'innovative' power source, which many speculate to be controlled nuclear fusion.

With worries surrounding climate change - which we'll soon hear about from Vanga - it wouldn't necessarily be a surprise to see experts achieve the long-held goal of a completely new and game-changing way of generating power that should hopefully separate humanity from a fossil fuel dependency.

She has also envisioned that astronauts will step foot on Venus for the first time, and the viability of this very much depends on your level of optimism. It has been well documented how much current space agencies struggle to even send humans back to the Moon, and much of the focus appears to be on reaching Mars for the first time before we even begin to consider Venus.

You never know what innovations will be made in three years, but it certainly does seem unlikely given current trends, especially as it's not a primary goal for any major space agency out there.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Baba Vanga also predicted that 2025 would be the year that world hunger is eradicated. This would obviously be a monumental step for everyone worldwide, and perhaps Elon Musk's post-AI 'universal high income' plans could help achieve this fact.

2033

Moving onto 2033 things start to feel a little more frightening though, as Baba Vanga's primary prediction for eight years into the future has global sea levels rising as a consequence of climate change.

This prediction isn't exactly a hard one to make as scientists have already warned about the dangerous increase of sea levels in certain areas of the world that could potentially leave key cities underwater, but 2033 could be a potentially critical turning point that marks something we simply can't return from.

Whether the aforementioned discovery of a new power source will help push this point back is up for debate, yet many experts indicate that the effects of current fossil fuel usage - especially from the richest individuals and companies - remain incredibly difficult to stop.
