Although there are plenty of skeptics who don't believe the Bulgarian mystic's supposed abilities, Baba Vanga was credited with predicting everything from Princess Diana's death to 9/11, the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami to Barack Obama being the 44th President of the United States.
Like Nostradamus, Baba Vanga did a lot of soothsaying in her time, and with us having previously covered her predictions for 2025, we're bracing for the likes of contact with aliens, harnessing the ability of telepathy, and growing organs in a lab. Her scariest vision for 2025 is a devastating war that will apparently ravage Europe. Given the current political climate and Russia ominously hinting that it could wipe out the United Kingdom, this has obviously led to fears that it's foreshadowing World War III.
The so-called "Nostradamus of the Balkans" mentioned how "2025 would bring shattering earthquakes," which many have linked to the recent 7.7-magnitude quake that hit Myanmar and Thailand toward the end of March and led to over 3,700 deaths. There have been continued earthquakes in south-east Asian nations, with the Pacific island of Tonga also being shaken by a 5.3-magnitude earthquake.
Elsewhere, her mentions of a 'worldwide economic disaster' in 2025 have been tied to Donald Trump's tariffs and trade war with China. AI has even predicted that this could be the catalyst that triggers WWIII.

With two more 'correct' predictions from Baba Vanga, others are looking closely at her warnings of war in 2025.
Before her death, Baba Vanga mused: "In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West."
The Daily Mail reports that a 1979 interview with writer Valentin Sidorov had Baba Vanga refer to a man called Vladimir becoming 'lord of the world'.

Predicting the outcome of this European conflict, Baba Vanga concluded, "Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world," saying that Europe will be reduced to a 'wasteland'.
As we wait and see whether a global conflict will be kicked off in Europe, others are worried that we're already in the throes of WWIII and don't know it yet.
If we make it through 2025 without World War III, Baba Vanga has looked even further ahead. She doesn't make it sound like things are going to get much better, with her predicting the polar ice caps melting and leading to a natural disaster in 2033, communism taking over what's left of the world in 2076. Beyond that, droughts will supposedly ravage planet Earth in 2170, there will be a devastating war with Mars in 3005, and the human race will die out in 5079. Thankfully, we'll all be long gone by then. In the meantime, Baba Vanga seemingly suggests we should brace for the imminent risk of WWIII in 2025.
