Many fans are speculating that Elon Musk could be the next celebrity to make their way into GTA 6, but the richest man in the world might not be portrayed in the most favorable of lights.
Outside of carjacking, wanton murder, and boundary-pushing graphics, the Grand Theft Auto series is best known for its biting cultural satire which often pokes fun at trends taking America by storm.
The most recent entry in the series took pot shots at everything from iPhones, the California tech revolution, reality TV, and even corruption within government, and it would be a huge shock if the upcoming release of GTA 6 didn't also feature the same.

While some fans are convinced that they've managed to already work out the game's big twist, despite the fact we've only been treated to two trailers and a handful of screenshots so far, many are speculating that one of the world's biggest celebrities will be in Rockstar's crosshairs this time around.

If you've even glanced at the news at any point in 2025, there's a good chance that you've seen Elon Musk's name mentioned, as the world's richest man has certainly been busy.
The billionaire has primarily been at the right-hand side of US President Donald Trump since becoming head of the new Department of Government Efficiency, but his prominence through Tesla, SpaceX, and social media platform X has been almost impossible to ignore.

TV shows like SNL have enjoyed their own caricatures of the tech mogul, but some on the r/GTA6 subreddit believe that Musk will be the upcoming game's equivalent of previous celebrity satires like Paris Hilton and Robert Downey Jr.
It would definitely line up with what the developer has previously liked to focus on, as Musk intersects the worlds of both technology and politics. Some also point out that GTA Online's Avon Hertz is already seemingly a parody of Musk, so Rockstar might not want to retread old ground.
One factor that might make the studio eager to double-dip dip is Musk's outspoken opposition to the Grand Theft Auto series, despite being a self-professed lover of games.

He has previously expressed his failure to interact with the series, outlining that he "tried, but didn't like doing crime. GTA5 required shooting police officers in the opening scene. Just couldn't do it."
Many would argue that this makes it even more perfect of an opportunity for Rockstar to parody the billionaire, and his aversion to shooting fictional police officers could also play into things.
In the same Reddit thread, some have also speculated which other celebrities will potentially be satirized in GTA 6, and the most popular answers are either live streamers or President Trump.

It would be shocking if a version of Trump's Mar-a-Lago didn't make it into the game, considering it’s a real-life location, and the president's dominance of the political landscape since GTA 5 came out is almost perfect for a Grand Theft Auto-style parody - especially with a fictional Musk at his side.
