Grand Theft Auto fans think they've spotted the in-game version of Elon Musk in the game.
Since both trailers of GTA 6 dropped, fans have been picking apart every frame to uncover clues about the plot, character backstories, Easter eggs and other hidden details.
Rockstar Games is well-known for weaving satirical and exaggerated takes on pop culture, celebrities and current events into its GTA series.

And now it seems like one character from GTA V Online looks like Elon Musk, so much so that fans actually have no doubt at all.
The irony is that the world's richest man has been pretty open on social media about his refusal to play a GTA game.
In fact, he claimed that he 'tried' but 'didn’t like doing crime' or 'killing NPCs.' Instead, he's continued to sink his gaming hours into Diablo IV, World of Warcraft, and Path of Exile 2, all the while receiving backlash on his controversial levelling up methods.
But as Rockstar loves a not-so-subtle nod to celebs, one Reddit user questioned: "Is it true that Avon Hertz is just GTAO's version of Elon Musk?"
For those who haven’t played, Avon Hertz is a tech mogul introduced in The Doomsday Heist DLC update of GTA V Online. Voiced by Sean McGrath, Hertz is the creator of Clifford, an AI neural network which he plans to use to launch a global-scale attack.

On the forum, fans have no doubt, saying that Hertz is 'absolutely' Rockstar's take on Elon Musk. Backing up one fan's point, they explained the similarities between Hertz and Musk including his 'arrogance,' 'fake hair or a hair transplant,' a 'tech mogul' and the reference to 'Clifford' is seemingly the 'in game version' of Neuralink.

The user went on to say that the only major difference between the two is that Hertz is 'less awkward' compared to the SpaceX founder in conversation.
Another user added: "A characterized satire of him yes, as most GTA things are," and someone else agreed: "Yea I always thought of elon when I played that heist".

According to GTA Wiki, there’s some credibility to the theory, writing: "Numerous traits and characteristics suggest that Avon is based on real-life billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk."
The website points out that Hertz is seen with a 'blue Coil Cyclone' which is the 'GTA equivalent of Tesla,' of which Musk is the co-founder and current CEO.
Similarities like this are hard to ignore, but it wouldn’t be the first time Rockstar has blurred the line between fiction and reality - and with GTA VI still a good year away, it’s giving fans plenty to chew on while they wait.
