iPhone 18 Pro video leak seems to confirm two model colours and it's enough to convince users to upgrade
Apple likes to switch things up every year when it comes to color schemes, and the rumored options for the new iPhone 18 Pro are certainly doing a lot to convince fans to upgrade when it releases imminently.
While last year boasted the incredibly popular Cosmic Orange – which made no mistake in letting everyone know you have the newest and best-performing iPhone out there – this year's primary colorway is a burgundy, plum, or cherry-like option.
As reported by 9to5Mac, this new color is part of what's likely to be three or four fresh options for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, and those who care about how their iPhone looks from the outside might not be able to resist the temptation of picking this up at launch.
With this year's September launch expected to only involve the more premium devices – including the brand-new foldable iPhone Ultra – there's now all the more reason to bite the bullet and upgrade.
Leaks suggest new iPhone 18 Pro color options
There are at least three confirmed color options for the iPhone 18 Pro thanks to recent leaks, yet Dark Gray has also been banded about as a possible fourth selection depending on who you ask.

The 'Dark Cherry' option is by far the stand out for many here, yet the other options are definitely ones to consider if you don't necessarily want to stand out quite as much as some others would.
It's unlike anything Apple has really done before when it comes to iPhone colors, and will definitely let people know what device you're rocking for the next year.
Current mock-ups can vary when it comes to the vibrance and depth of color for this particular option, so we'll have to wait until it is officially revealed to see exactly what this will look like in person.
Reactions on social media have definitely been positive too, with many proclaiming that the Dark Cherry option is enough justification to buy a new phone on its own.
"That Dark Cherry might be the only way I upgrade from the purple 14 [Pro Max]," wrote on commenter on Reddit, with another chiming in to state that "I know it's stupid to upgrade your phone purely on a new color... but damn that Dark Cherry is sexxxy."
When is the iPhone 18 Pro expected to release?
While nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet, it is all but guaranteed that Apple shows off the new iPhone 18 Pro, alongside the iPhone Ultra, at this year's Apple Event on September 9, 2026.
It's usually the case that the launch date is set for no more than a couple of weeks after the reveal – which is important if you're wanting to sell your current device – meaning that the iPhone 18 Pro will likely release in mid to late September.
Once caveat is that the standard iPhone 18 isn't expected to be included in this line-up for the first time in years, opting instead for a launch in the first quarter of 2027 in order to target different markets across the world and avoid oversaturation, perhaps prompting people into buying the new Pro version with an appealing colorway instead.
