Apple has rolled out the red carpet, with the tech giant showing off what is coming in the near future. Showing off a major revamp for the iPhone, we've also got the much-hyped reveal of iOS 26.
There was plenty to unpack from this new look at the iPhone, and even if we didn't get to see the iPhone 17, Apple had plenty on offer. As well a look at the new Liquid Glass overhaul, it pinched a much-requested feature from Google with new Call Assist and Call Screening.
There was also a redesigned Photos App, but apparently, not all of you were impressed by what was on offer. Over on Reddit, one skeptic groaned: "What happened to the more round design of app icons??? Very underwhelming. This is not a 'huge' redesign."

Another fumed: "Call screening finally and hold assist are great. But of course pixel has had these features for years now just proving again Apple is so far behind in implementation of features."
A third said: "The new features are so niche like 99% of people won't use them. 😒."
Still, a redesign is a redesign, and we've got to admit that Liquid Glass looks pretty glossy.
It's true that Apple seemed to focus on the aesthetics instead of fixing the many bugs you're constantly complaining about, and with this, there are all the typical moans we continue to hear.
