When it comes to the world of YouTube, they don't come bigger than Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson. While the likes of Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg, KSI, and Jenna Marbles all cut their teeth on YouTube, their success is largely overshadowed by MrBeast.
Not only beating Cocomelon to be the most-subscribed channel on YouTube, MrBeast has taken his empire far beyond viral videos. Having dabbled in Feastables, Lunchly, and MrBeast Burger, he also breaking records over on Amazon with his Squid Game-inspired Beast Games.
With all this notoriety, it's no surprise that Donaldson has occasionally found himself on the receiving end of negative press, including accusations of mistreatment while on the set of Beast Games, being branded a 'scammer' thanks to his Las Vegas experience, and even facing the wrath of Mexico over one of his videos.

The world is still obsessed with MrBeast, and with more ideas like a real-life Hunger Games supposedly in the works, it doesn't sound like he'll be running out of content anytime soon. This should keep the dollars flowing in, but after clapping back at Forbes, claiming he's the highest-paid creator of 2025 and has pulled in $85 million, he’s seemingly revealed what he’s worth.
It's previously been alleged that Donaldson was worth $1 billion, although the man himself has suggested he's been forced to borrow money from his own mom.
Putting the rumors to bed, MrBeast has potentially revealed his net worth by discussing his bank balance during a livestream.
While sitting alongside Adin Ross, the fellow YouTube star asked Donaldson, "Jimmy, are you a billionaire? Be honest."

Being unusually candid, MrBeast replied: "Yeah. What would you say the largest YouTube channel in the world is worth?"
Then again, considering his videos have been watched a jaw-dropping 92 billion times, we imagine that's quite the wedge before you get to his other business ventures.
Added to this, recent funding discussions suggested the 27-year-old's company could be worth a bank-busting $5 billion. Well, you'd need a fair bit of spare money to be offering out $2.5 million private jets to contestants.
Donaldson is getting more chatty about what's in his wallet, and in an interview with Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast in February 2025, the content creator admitted: "In my actual bank account, I have less than $1 million. [I pay myself] a little bit, but I also have some assistants and things like that, so I try to pay myself what I spend personally, a month, just to stay even."

Still, when Donaldson's interview with Ross went viral, others remained unconvinced by his billionaire status. One skeptic wrote: "He owns assets that’s worth a billion but he doesn’t have a billion in his bank account."
Another added: "U guys forgetting he has multiple accounts with 20M+ subs 😭🙏."
A third concluded: "I just realized most people don't understand the difference between being wealthy and rich.....he's worth a billion...same as Elon, he said he doesn't have a billion but he's worth billions."
Even if MrBeast is only a billionaire on paper, we wouldn't mind having his financials.
