Weight loss injection users share hardest side effect 'people don't talk about'

This might be something to think about before taking the jab

One user of a popular weight loss drug has revealed which side effect is the hardest to deal with while taking the medication, and it's not one that many people talk about.

There are plenty of side effects that people have discussed as part of the weight loss drug experience, as taking something like Ozempic can lead to bad breath or poor dental hygeine, and it can even have absurd effects on your private parts.

Some have experimented with the dosage of their medication to avoid the more common health complications and seen surprising results, yet one TikToker has outlined the thing that she is struggling to deal with the most when taking tirzepatide, known by it's more popular name Mounjaro.

What is the hardest side effect of Mounjaro?

As reported by the Daily Mail, TikTok user @swedish_sandra has argued that the most challenging part of taking a weight loss drug like Mounjaro is the 'in-between' period that many people don't talk about.

Her most popular video on the social media platform goes over this very valid yet vastly under-discussed side effect, and it has racked up over 52,000 views, with over 500 people people chiming in with their similar experiences in the comments.

"No one talks about the in-between of a big weight loss journey," the multi-slide TikTok from Sandra begins, as she illustrates the challenges of waiting for changes to become noticable.

"This phase feels quiet - not the start, not the finish, just the slow middle where everything is shifting but the big change isn't visible yet," she continues. "It's easy to feel stuck or wonder if it's even working."

Much of what you see in relation to weight loss drugs are the miraculous end results, especially from certain celebrities, so it'll definitely be challenging to reckon with having that for yourself yet despite being on the medication.

"But every small step, every tiny win, is progress. It's about learning to trust the process, be gentle with yourself, and keep going even when it's tough," Sandra emphasizes. "For the days when you feel like you should be further along. Save this for when the in-between feels heavy."

How many other people suffer from this side effect?

Plenty of people have offered their own experiences with the weight loss drug journey in the comments underneath Sandra's video, sharing that they also struggle with the 'middle' part of taking the treatments.

"LONG, that's how it's feeling. I've literally been trying to get to a healthy weight my entire adult life," one comment explains. "Feels like I'll never reach the goal but I continue to put the work in every day."

Another adds that "it's just so boring now, that's how I'm feeling," to which Sandra replied: "I completely get that, that initial excitement has died down but you're not at goal weight yes. Sometimes it feels dull and slow. But those boring moments are the real, steady progress that doesn't always get the spotlight, even though it's what really lasts."
