Elon Musk has shocked his supporters after revealing he’s been on Mounjaro.

In a Christmas post, the billionaire shared that he has been taking the weight loss drug.

Musk took to his own social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to reveal the update.

In the post, the tech mogul can be seen wearing a Santa costume and posing in front of a Christmas tree.

In the caption, Musk wrote: “Ozempic Santa.”

He followed it up in a separate tweet which read: “Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic!”

In a third tweet, he clarified: “Technically Mounjaro, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it.”

Musk had previously shared his support for weight loss drugs earlier in the month.

In a post on X shared on December 11, he said: “Nothing would do more to improve the health, lifespan and quality of life for Americans than making [GLP-1 drugs] super low cost to the public. Nothing else is even close.”

GLP-1 drugs include weight loss treatments such as Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro.

Mounjaro is described as a weight loss injection designed to make you feel full so that you eat less.

Many celebrities have admitted to taking weight loss injections to help them slim down, including the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Clarkson and Sharon Osborne.

Many more have been accused of taking the drugs and even Trump has been the subject of speculation.

Many people took to X themselves to share their thoughts and reactions to Musk’s revelation that he was also taking a weight loss drug.

On social media, one user wrote: “With so much money I'd hire a professional chef that served healthier food. Makes no sense to me to be fat when one is that wealthy.”

Another said: “All modern medicine has many potential problems, but diet and exercise, mindfulness? Just dedicated hard work and consistency.”

A third person wrote: “Mounjaro is different than Ozempic. Less side effects with better results. It’s a GLP1 and GIP1.”

And a fourth added: “At least he’s being honest about it.”

The topic was also discussed over on Reddit where one user shared: “Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and President-elect Donald Trump’s“first buddy,” revealed on Christmas night that he was using the medication Mounjaro for weight loss while dubbing himself “Ozempic Santa” in a holiday-themed social media post.”

And another joked: “Alpha-supreme-king-of-motivation-and-work-ethic doesn't even have the will power to skip desert and exercise. Pathetic.”
