The eyes of the world were on Sharm El-Sheikh on October 13, with President Donald Trump signing the much-requested Israel-Hamas ceasefire into action. The President of the United States was among those who gathered in front of a banner that read "Peace 2025", with the likes of Egypt's President Sisi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas putting their signatures on the first phase of the ceasefire deal.
Hyping this monumental moment, Donald Trump cheered: "We've achieved what everybody said was impossible - at long last, we have peace in the Middle East." Still, it didn't get him the Nobel Peace Prize.
Hopefully lasting longer than the January 2025 Gaza war ceasefire, many believe this could finally be a step in the right direction to ending the Gaza war that's raged since October 2023.
It's no secret that the Doomsday Clock is closer to midnight than ever before, and it's not just due to the rampant rise in artificial intelligence. While everyone seems to be playing nice for now, meetings where Vladimir Putin has discussed immortality with Xi Jinping have set alarm bells ringing.

When it comes to the relationship between France's President Emmanuel Macron and President Trump, they also have something of a rocky history. After being caught in an awkward hot mic moment with Macron, it now looks like Trump has given him a 'warning' at the Israel-Hamas summit.
As reported by the Daily Mail, one lip-reading expert has seemingly deciphered what Trump said to Macron in Egypt. The pair engaged in an uncomfortable handshake where it looked like they were about to have an arm wrestle, but according to lip reader Nicola Hickling, this was just the start of the power play.
While not as intense as their infamous 29-second death grip from back in 2017, Hickling claims that Trump leaned in and said: "Nice to see you, so you agreed?"

Macron then turned away and muttered something inaudible. Suggesting that Macron had 'hurt' him, the lip reader says Trump added, "Are you being genuine?"
Shortly shuffling off the stage, Macron apparently said, "Of course."
Trump also tightened his grip as he's accused of saying: "Okay, so now I want to know why, you hurt me. I already know."
The power play doesn't end here, and as Trump squeezed Macron's hand again, Trump seemed to say, "I am making peace."

As Macron appeared to say, "Ah come on," it looks like the Commander-in-Chief only squeezes harder.
The stark warning comes as Trump reportedly told France's leader: "I only hurt those who hurt others."
When Macron concludes, "I see. We will have to see about that," a defiant Trump is accused of saying: "You will see what is about to happen. I’d like to see you do it, do it. I’ll see you in a bit."
While the pair are regularly seen being cordial, the latest exchange comes just weeks after Macron was filmed alongside Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, poking fun at Trump Copengagen's European Political Community meeting.

President Trump doesn't seem like the kind of guy to take a joke like that lying down, and by the looks of his vice-like grip on Macron, he's keen to get that message across.
