The $6,000 secret that the likes of tech CEOs Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk swear by has been revealed.
The piece of tech isn’t cheap but it is one that moguls at the top of the industry are crediting as the key to their successes.
And it turns out that it has nothing to do with the advancement of artificial intelligence.
In fact, this apparent ‘must-have’ is something that you can use in your sleep.

This is because the item in question is a high-tech mattress from the startup Eight Sleep.
The firm specializes in smart beds that enable you to control your sleep better than ever before with the Pod 5 mattress.

On the company website, it explains: “Pod 5 actively adjusts your temperature, elevates your body, and plays integrated soundscapes to improve your sleep. “All changes are based on your sleep stages, biometrics, and environment.”

The pod comes with an ‘intelligent, hydro-powered’ mattress cover that has the ability to connect to larger ‘hub’ in order to track your health and ‘dynamically optimize your temperature to improve your sleep’.
It also comes with an adjustable base that can reduce the pressure on your back as well as snoring.
It also has an integrated speaker, allowing you to play ‘soundscapes, white noise, and meditations to help you unwind and sleep’.
A hydro-powered Blanket completes the set, which also connects to the cover in order to create a ‘fully immersive thermal experience from top to bottom’.

According to Eight Sleep, the product has been shown to be able to reduce snoring by 45% and also helps its users wake up 23% less during the night.

The smart bed has some pretty well known fans, with Zuckerberg taking to his own social media platform Threads to write that he had ‘really dialled in my sleep with Eight Sleep and Oura’.
Musk also praised the startup company, writing on X, formerly Twitter, to share that the mattress is ‘good’.

Biohacker Bryan Johnson, who splashes the cash on treatments to prolong his life, is also publicly a fan of the bed.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, co-founder of Eight Sleep, Alexandra Zatarain, said: “Our audience is still someone who’s spending $3,000 on a high-tech device to help them sleep better.
“But they are normal people - they are doctors and they are dancers and they are teachers.”
She added: “We will keep developing innovations that will get us into more households.”
