Erika Kirk has sparked speculation that she's moving on from her late husband, with a viral hug between her and Vice President JD Vance setting the internet alight with conspiracy theories.
In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's September 10 shooting, the widowed Erika Kirk has vowed to continue his work, saying that her "cries will echo around the world like a battle cry."
Following a scandal over a bizarre link between Kirk and President Donald Trump, she's been blasted for engaging in an 'inappropriate' hug with JD Vance.
As part of continuing her husband's legacy, Erika hosted an event at the University of Mississippi for his ‘This Is the Turning Point' tour. Before Vance took to the stage, Kirk told the crowd: "When our team asked my dear friend, Vice President JD Vance, to speak today, I really prayed on it because, obviously, it’s a very emotional, emotional day.

Saying she could 'hear' Charlie in her heart, Kirk continued: "I could just hear him say, ‘Go reclaim that territory, babe'...The battle’s already won. God’s love conquers. And that’s why I’m here today.”
As reported by the New York Post, she referred to the VP as 'a very, very dear friend', adding: "No one will ever replace my husband, but I do see some similarities in JD."
When Vance came to the stage, eyebrows were raised when she placed her hand on the back of his head in what's been described as an 'intimate' moment.
Vance notably served as a pallbearer when Kirk’s body was flown from Utah back to Arizona on Air Force Two.

The Vice President said that Charlie Kirk was the “most effective person in politics that I have seen,” claiming that Turning Point USA founder once phoned him to share his concerns before Donald Trump ordered airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Now, Erika Kirk has spoken out about her own private life and complaints that cameras are being kept away from Tyler Robinson's trial as he stands accused of murdering her husband. Speaking to Fox News, a vexed Kirk said: "There have been cameras all over my friends and family, mourning. There have been cameras all over me. Analyzing my every move, analyzing my every smile, my every tear. We deserve to have cameras in there.
"Why not be transparent?” There’s nothing to hide. I know there’s not, because I’ve seen what the case is built on. Let everyone see what true evil is. This is something that could impact a generation and generations to come."

A tearful Kirk seemingly debunked the idea she's trying to move on from her husband, welling up when she was shown a video of him. When pushed on whether she signed up to a mission to 'save' Western civilization, she concluded: "I didn’t sign up for anything. I just married the love of my life."
As for her embrace with Vance, X exploded with scandalous allegations. One person said: "I have never wanted to touch any man’s hair during a hug other than my husband's. This is weird."

Another added: "Her embracing a man that ain’t hers by his hair? His hand placement on a woman that ain’t his? Her leatherette skintight pants - at this event? Hmm. 🤔"
A third then summed up, saying: "That pic’s got me side eyeing hard. Isn’t it shady as hell for a married dude to have his hands all over a chick’s hips especially a freshly widowed one like her, still raw from losing Charlie? The way they’re vibing, it’s screaming scandal. Nothing about this screams ‘Christian values’ to me."
