An Australian influencer is finding out that what you post online can bite you in the backside in a big way, apparently being deported from the USA for making threats toward Billie Eilish.

Never one to mince her words, the "Birds of a Feather" singer has used her platform to call out the world's billionaires, clap back against the use of 'predatory' AI, and deliver numerous takedowns of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Taking to the stage at this year's dramatic Grammys, Eilish again fired shots at ICE and famously said: "No one's illegal on stolen land." Eilish's words have previously seen her take heat from the likes of Elon Musk, but while the world's richest man simply said, "She’s not the sharpest tool in the shed," others have taken things further. As well as attacking Eilish's looks, some have actually threatened her.

Jake Paul memorably said, "When Billie Eyelash gets her home broken into it’s not gonna be f-ck ICE I can promise you that," but apparently, Drew Pavlou crossed the line with a threat against the Oscar-winning artist.

Posting on X, Pavlou wrote: "Billie Eilish got me deported from the US — I think her legal team contacted DHS. I spent 30 hours at LAX immigration trying to explain that my sh*t posts were just a joke and that I didn’t actually plan to personally move into her mansion.”

According to the New York Post, the California Post reached out to the Department of Homeland Security and Eilish’s reps to confirm the story, although they hadn't replied at the time of publication.

Some are skeptical of Pavlou's story, especially because he refers to himself as a 'performance artist'.

Still, a photo shows him in the foreground with what looks like a DHS officer behind him.

His mention of moving into Eilish's mansion comes from him setting up a GoFundMe with the aim of flying to America to occupy her home. Although GoFundMe deleted the fundraiser, it wasn't until it had raised over $3,000.

Pavlou said he would be looking for alternative funding platforms, although it's unclear what happened next. Switching tactics, his alternative fundraiser was posted on GiveSendGo, saying that he instead planned to fly to Los Angeles and buy her Malibu mansion that was destroyed in 2025's Palisades fire.

In the aftermath of his supposed deportation, Pavlou referenced Eilish's "Bad Guy" and wrote: "Honestly most of the agents were nice and laughed at the idea but there was nothing I could do, maybe evil leftists are still in charge of sections of the bureaucracy. I guess some people are in fact actually illegal on stolen land. And I guess I am just a BAD GUY."

He added: "Her lawyers seem to have actually compiled a dossier on me because the agents were asking me about my entire history as an activist opposed to the Chinese government, whether I had ever plotted to assassinate Chinese Communist Party officials; it was legitimately insane."

Responding to the stunt on Reddit, one person said: "I don't even have the energy to make fun of this clown. Loser on every level."

Another added: "I do think it’s really funny that he thinks it’s 'evil leftists hate me for no reason' and not 'threatening an incredibly famous American citizen is probably going to get me told to leave'."

A third concluded: "This is the same guy who flew to New York City from Australia to hold up a sign saying 'Zohran Mamdani is not my mayor". 🙄 I'm in a FB group that follows these kinds of idiots for the purpose of mockery and I've seen so much Drew Pavlou. Absolute moron."
