The political situation in the United States continues to divide celebrities on both sides, and while President Donald Trump has recently bagged the unexpected support of rapper Nicki Minaj, he's also been called out by another major name.

As Donald Trump continues to try to prove he's 'down with the kids', he's nabbed corners of the TikTok generation with the likes of Joe Rogan, Jake and Logan Paul, and now Ms. Minaj. The latter just appeared at a summit where she held hands with the POTUS.

The official White House X account has also been branded as 'pathetic' for promoting Minaj's relationship with Trump, especially at a time when the eyes of the world are on a recent run of shootings

involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

OpenAI's Sam Altman appeared to call out ICE in a leaked message, Melinda French Gates has branded the deaths of Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti as 'unconscionable', and Apple's Tim Cook has called for de-escalation from the government.

Marvel stars Mark Ruffalo and Natasha Lyonne were among those who wore 'BE GOOD' pins on the red carpet for the Golden Globes, and now, another Marvel star has spoken out on the ICE situation.

Although he appeared as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder in the MCU's Captain America: Brave New World, Giancarlo Esposito is best-known for his role as the no-nonsense kingpin Gus Fring in Breaking Bad. Speaking to Variety at the Sundance Film Festival, the fan-favorite actor defiantly said: "This is time for a revolution — and they don’t even know that’s what they’re starting."

As well as his villainous turns in the above, Esposito has also played bad guys in The Boys and The Mandalorian, making a name for himself as one of the most iconic evil character actors out there. However, Esposito has turned his attention to what he believes is a different kind of villain.

Continuing his impassioned speech, Esposito continued: "We have to stand up to it. They can’t take us all down. If the whole world showed up on Putin’s doorstep or the Iranians’ doorstep or in Washington, they’d kill 500 or 50 million or however [many], but the rest of us would survive with a new [world]."

Things have become especially volatile in Minnesota, and while civil rights groups have called out a potentially excessive use of force and allegations of constitutional violations promoted by the Trump administration, others have blamed left-wing groups for stirring the pot.

Either way, Esposito has made his stance clear as he concluded: “Some very rich old white men are exerting their power to suppress our own people, thus creating a feeling of civil war in the streets, preparing the haters to hate, teaching them how to shoot.

"This is all a preparation for a very insidious problem that’s happening in our world. And for me, I have to speak out. We will not be ICE’d out. This is not going to happen.”

A number of prominent names wore 'ICE Out' pins at Sundance, including fellow MCU stars Tatiana Maslany and Natalie Portman.

While many have applauded Esposito for his words, some are worried that statements like this could incite a civil war as things continue to escalate.
