A major new piece of information in the Jeffrey Epstein saga has been revealed, as House Democrats have unveiled emails sent by the convinced child sex offender where he discusses Donald Trump.

Despite being one of the biggest and most popular pledges of his election campaign last year, US President Donald Trump has done just about everything in his power to prevent the release of the Epstein Files — including claiming that they don't even exist.

Several votes have been struck down to release them in the past few months, as the general public is desperate to find out which names are present within the financier's contacts.

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding Trump's alleged involvement with Epstein, including Elon Musk's claims earlier this year that the president is in the files (which he apologised for shortly after) and a new collection of emails released by the House Democrats upon the return of government has provided a number of illuminating details.

As reported by the BBC, House Democrats have released a number of emails that reveal private correspondance between Epstein, close associate and convinced child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and author Michael Woolf, where they discuss Trump's connection to the financier.

It's part of an ongoing review process that involves over 23,000 documents released by The Epstein Estate, with 20,000 of those files just unveiled by the House Oversight Committee.

We also previously were made aware of a signed message from Trump to Epstein in a 'birthday book', although the White House has denied its authenticity.

The first, and perhaps most significant email was sent by Epstein to Maxwell on April 2, 2011, where he details:

"I want you to realize that that dog that hasn't barked is trump.. [Victim] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned. Police chief. etc. im 75 % there. [sic]"

Another email from Epstein to Woolf alleged that Trump "knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop," whereas a third from Woolf to Epstein notes the "valuable PR and political currency" they have over Trump if he says "he hasn't been on the plane or to the house," noting that Epstein "should let [Trump] hang himself" prior to the 2016 election.

"You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt," Woolf proposed.

The White House has already responded to these emails, calling them an attempt to "smear President Trump," alleging that "the 'unnamed victim' referenced in these emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, who repeatedly said President Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever and 'couldn't have been friendlier' to her in their limited interactions."

Additionally, there is now increased pressure on the House to issue another vote on the release of the Epstein files, as Arizona's 7th congressional district's representative-elect Adelita Grijalava is expected to be the one to break the deadlock, with House Speaker Mike Johnson delaying swearing her in during the government shutdown.

Musk has also not yet offered his own comments or perspective on the new files that have been released, as many have speculated his own involvement in the files considering his previous connections to Maxwell which were revealed earlier in September.
