Elon Musk has been accused of destroying mankind after he shared a concerning post about the future.
The tech mogul has been very vocal in recent years about his support of the advancement of AI technology.
With the billionaire promising to put Tesla humanoid robots into homes across the US, Musk has an imaginative vision on what the world could look like in the next decade.
However, this has sparked concern from members of the public, especially following a post on Musk’s on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

He wrote: “The future is going to be AMAZING with AI and robots enabling sustainable ABUNDANCE for all!”
This prompted a response from others with one user writing: “You’re going to destroy humanity. The human spirit will be destroyed when AI and robotics dominate every aspect of life.”
Another said: “AI and robots ain't gonna pay our mortgages or kids' medical bills. Nor will the AI industry. Nor will the government. 'Abundance' in the abstract sounds nice. But how exactly will that trickle down to ordinary working families impoverished by AI job losses?”
A third person commented: “They always use the word abundance right before they lock the cage. You are not being promised a future. You are being assigned a holding pen with better lighting.”
And a fourth added: “I want to believe this but I've seen all the Terminator movies.”
Musk previously predicted that there will be an end of poverty, explaining why there is apparently ‘no need to save money’.
This came after Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio announced that he and his wife plan to make a $250 contribution to the bank accounts of 300,000 children taking part in President Donald Trump’s savers accounts for young Americans.

In a tweet, Musk said: “It is certainly a nice gesture of the Dells, but there will be no poverty in the future and so no need to save money. There will be universal high income.”
In previous statements, Musk has explained his reasoning for believing why a universal income is achievable in the future.
And it all comes down to his faith in the future of AI technology. Back in August, the mogul claimed that intelligent humanoid robots will one day outnumber humans.
On X, he wrote: “There will be universal high income (not merely basic income). Everyone will have the best medical care, food, home, transport and everything else. Sustainable abundance.”
Apparently ‘abundance’ is the new buzzword of choice for the billionaire.
